Excellent brunch lunch dinner restaurant Massive portions mixed with high quality ingredients. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Simply one of the best overall places I’ve visited in the UK. Lots of different events on too.
The food we had was nice but there isn’t a lot of selection for people who don’t like eggs (there was only the granola). I had the saag aloo hash bowl with no egg which was nice. It’s great this place is dog friendly and the atmosphere is cool. Cocktail list looked great too!
Loved my veg hash bowl, but Turkish eggs on toast were way too spicy. Great brunch place and their lemonades are sooooo good, especially the ginger beer mint one! Also they are dog friendly.
Late breakfast at Ernest Cafe in Ousburn. A laid back relaxed setting with great outdoor seating We had the Plant Lovers Breakfast and the Turkish Eggs. Two delicious, healthy dishes and loved everything. Could have done without the beetroot falafel 😬 will have both dishes again, soon 😋
Well this was worth walking to find!! Delicious coffees, excellent cheesecake and a very nice prosecco to finish. A foodie tour of Ouseburn needs to include dessert, and this was a great spot for that.
Every trip to Ouseburn is not complete until you have done a pit stop at Earnest for either some delicious brunch, coffee or cocktail. There’s something about the food served here that just hits different - the chefs designing the menu’s obviously know what the customers want and they always deliver
Lovely cafe with a nice outdoors area. Great coffee and a good selection on the menu. Perfect for a weekend brunch!
It was a Loverly afternoon in the unusual September heat. we were sitting outside with some great cocktails. Service was good. The place was busy but not over-so, which allowed us to get drinks relatively quickly. It was not overly expensive but not exactly cheap either.
I booked the back room at Ernest for a large group for a joint birthday brunch on a Saturday in September. Everything went perfectly, from the communication before the event to the brunch itself. The space and vibe were ideal, the food was very tasty and the staff were so attentive and friendly thro
Loved it. Food and drink was delicious (homemade sodas & vegan 'sosage' roll with tasty salad) plus lovely, prompt service. Place has a great vibe. We were there Wednesday lunchtime and it was bustling with a mixture of students from nearby halls, and art lovers from nearby Biscuit Factory.
