The best Italian ever! I have had so many lovely times and meals here throughout my time at university. All the staff are so friendly and full of craic and the food is unreal. I really recommend the half pizza half pasta. Thank you Francesca's!

Complementary bread basket is a nice touch to start, and the food is always fresh and comes out really quickly. Good sized portions too so definitely worth the money!

We had a tasty lunch here, loved the half pasta, half pizza meal! Good quality Italian cooking that’s value for money. We went at 2pm on a Saturday with hardly any queue.

Lovely staff, great food, nice decor. I went with my daughters and we had a cannelloni, spagbol and a penne bolognese. Portions are very generous. Meal here tonight after dropping my daughter off at Uni. Food was amazing, staff very attentive especially Thomas. Atmosphere was brilliant. Very popular place, highly recommended.

This was a lovely family restaurant. With attentive staff, delicious food that doesn't break the budget. Lovely soft bread served before the starters arrived. House red is very nice. The tiramisu is a standout perhaps the best I have ever had. Kids were well catered for and there in variable antics
Love Francesscas the food is delicious the ambience is warm and friendly and at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for. You do have to queue but get yourself a drink whilst your standing and take it all in.
The kind of place that has been putting out solid, dependable Italian basics for decades, with an interior that looks it. You can't book ahead, which gives it the most efficient throughput and seemingly doesn't diminish demand - we went on a Monday evening and queued for about 45 minutes.

One of the best Italian restaurant in whole UK. We came to visit our son and he took us for dinner, Mr Thomas and all member of the team made our evening very joyful. My whole family including little one also enjoyed this place and 100% recommended 💖
Fantastic food, amazing atmosphere, staff were funny, goodrecommendations for food and great value for money! Get there early to avoid a queue but it is 100% worth the wait.
