This is a lovely, hidden gem just off Byker bank. The food we had was excellent (although the photos don't really do it justice) and the beer choice was off the scale with samples available on request. Atmosphere was amazing, noisy but not so loud you couldn't talk. Tables and chairs were 'rustic' but comfortable and the artwork was 'local' and available to purchase. Staff were friendly and very personable, nothing was a chore for them, dispute how busy the place was. Overall, a very nice place for a meal with friends at reasonably affordable prices. Highly recommended!

Good food, good friendly service, it wasn't too busy on the Sunday afternoon we visited. We tried a selection of sliders (mini versions of their burgers) shared between 2 - all were amazing!!! I especially liked their chicken sliders, perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Chips are fluffy and almost tastes buttery inside. 1 star off for the kids sausage and chips meal - sausage good quality but very salty, and the beans had rather too much herbs that it tasted bitter. Would definitely come here again for the burgers.

We were introduced to this wonderful restaurant as part of a foodie walking tour today. It is A-maz-ing!! Gorgeous quirky interior, plenty of seating, inside and outside. Lovely locally brewed IPA and Imperial stout. Great menu with local produce. We will be back!

An outstanding brew pub of both cask and craft beers. Proper food to go with the ale both served by top class staff. It was a total pleasure chatting with them 👍🏻

Lovely Sunday lunch, however the veggies were on the raw side of al dente, to the point where the cauliflower was too tough to cut with a normal knife . The beef was tender and tasty as were the mash, yorkies and roasties. The star for me was the red cabbage, it was delish and I'm not a cabbage lover

Brilliant place, atmosphere was lively with a mix of people from babies to older couples and groups. We ordered a selection of sliders and loaded fries which were all perfectly cooked and delicious. Real ale and beer selection was big enough to suit any taste. Bit gutted we only had a couple of hours to spend there! Will definitely be back.

We did the brewery tour, tasted beers and sampled the mini burgers, all as part of a gift voucher we had. We really enjoyed the whole experience, the owner of the brewery did the talk and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. All in all it was a laidback informative and fun experience. The bar/restaurant area has a great atmosphere and the food and beers on offer exceptional. We will be back

The food is absolutely fantastic. The burgers are amazing and there are loads to choose from. The staff are really friendly and the seating area has a mixture of tables for dining and a few areas for chilling out with big sofas and a real fire roaring away. Always lively and the 6 beer flight for £17 is a great shout to try all they have to offer. Also sell cool t shirts at the bar, they don't have the brewery plastered all over so you're not a walking advert but are quite funny. As a party of 5 we all had dinner and drinks for £75. Love this place.
