Their buffet is the best in North East and wide range of appetisers, mains and desserts available. Their menu consists of both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Freshly made noodles are lovely.

An excellent place for dining. Wide varieties of Indian foods are available at a reasonable price. You need to book the seats prior. Some days without booking we can enter. We felt that a large group of parties can conduct very easily...

It's amazing, couldn't fault it. We went in for a birthday out of our group and they went above and beyond for our group.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Thanks
Ps- This is just what i picked at first but all the food that our group had was amazing.

This place is huge and bustling with customers so it’s definitely a crowd favourite spot.
The buffet has so many varieties and is worth the price if you have the appetite to try them all.
Food is delicious but the curries in main course have milder flavour compared to the authentic dish.
Definitely gonna visit this place again as Its one of the best places to visit if you are craving Indian food or a good buffet option.

I was invited to go for a Christmas do for work. I’m not very familiar with this area, but found it easy and parking was free after 6pm in a council multi story a couple of hundred yards away.
We went for the buffet. We got some drinks and were shown to our reserved table. There was plenty of room between the tables, and headed to the buffet area.
The food is mainly Indian, there was a bit of Chinese, a few pizzas and a bit of English. All the food I tried was very well cooked. All was warm (not too hot) and plentiful. Aneesa’s was clean and the staff cleared used plate’s really swiftly, just remember to get some cutlery.
There was deserts, but having a dairy intolerance, I have to keep away.
Great night out, the views of the river , again just a few hundred yards away was lovely. Everywhere felt safe.

Where do I begin.....from the minute we entered to the minute we left we were made so welcome....the food was so nice cooked to perfection. Hemed on the grill was so friendly and explained how he cooked the chicken tika, that were so nice.
Jumma the waiter was always on had to fill our drinks and we never had a dirty plate as they were cleared right away.
One of our party it was there birthday, they do a perfect birthday package with a homemade chocolate cake, card and a photo of the occasion.
Mr de souza the manager had a great sense of humour and explained where everything was and encouraged us to try every meal, but trust me there was so many to try we couldn't. This was our 1st time and definitely not be our last. This is one of the best buffets I have ever been in.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the amazing staff at Aneesa’s buffet, Newcastle, for your hospitality and care towards our disabled daughter on Friday night while we were out for dinner with family. I rarely give reviews and reserve them for when someone has exceeded my expectations and on this occasion I was blown away! From the food to the atmosphere of the restaurant, everything was spot on. For me the winner was the prayer room, for which I was so glad and grateful. I enjoyed every dish I sampled and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the food and attention! Thank you and congratulations to the management also for achieving such a great success. We look forward to seeing you all again.

10 / 10 food and service. Food was delicious, fresh and lots of variety. The service was wonderful, De Souza showed us to our table and eas very friendly and talked to us about the food choices. Gave us a dessert to try and we had to guess what it was (was delicious and won't spoil it here!) Usama the host was polite and friendly too and overall it was a great experience!

I can't really fault this place to be honest. Some buffet restaurants can lack quality but the food here is actually really good. I would recommend for large groups too. Really nice and very reasonably priced. I will definitely visit again.

Fantastic amount of choices as well as good food.
Below was what I ate, noting the quantity/portion sizes also.
X-Small Roast Turkey/beef in gravy
2 Yorkshire puddings
Small Paya
X-Small Lamb biryani
2 samosas
1 masala fish
2 lamb ribs
Mash potato
1 naan
1 Oreo cheesecake (comes small)
Gulab jaman (comes small)
Ice cream
For the sheer variety on offer and the quality of the food, I recommend visiting once a month at the very least.
To note on other reviewers commenting on a lack of atmosphere. This is not something the restaurant intended to create. This is a buffet, staff are on their feet and serving. Whilst staff in the buffet section lack any personality and are not very communicative, seeming like robot's- Customers are there to eat. The atmosphere is suited to wedding venues where serving of food is the sole aim and not customers feeling mentally confortable.
Throughout the evening birthday songs were played and it was clear there were large groups of people attending for celebrations/parties.
The experience for us was just eating. There is that awkwardness from a lack of interaction from staff who usually stand there all afternoon and evening, but if your expecting an exciting 'experience' in a buffet restaurant, then you will not find this, but good food instead, which was our only need.
Families and large groups enjoyed themselves due to having eachother to speak with. They made their own fun. I feel it.
This is the best restaurant in Newcastle for food. Please don't go here expecting a lively and pulsating atmosphere. Staff are polite and courteous, good Indian music is played, tables are cleaned and food replenished throughout the evening.

Lovely Asian buffet restaurant with plenty of dishes available ranging for curries to tandoori meats and fried options. All this accompanied with nans, noodles and rices.
Everything tasted fresh, desserts options were plenty and tasted incredible.
