In this quiet suburb there is a small oasis of zen and magic. A cake shop and cafe with delicious treats including vegan and gluten free. Here we are at 8pm on a Sunday evening. Who knew?
First time visiting Cake Stories. Such lovely decor and lovely looking menu. We went for coffee and cake. We are wholesale customers so tried cakes We haven't tasted yet. All were delicious as we expected.
We went to this recommended coffee shop and we couldn't sit so we went to another place, the next day we went in the morning and we were lucky to get a table. After us it was a big queue for take away. The place is not very big just a few tables that makes the space comfortable. The decorations is r
Very good cafe with many sweet and coffee options. I got the red velvet cake and a cappuccino. Both were really delicious. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is calm and quiet. Highly recommended!
Absolutely amazing cake!! Been meaning to visit for a while. Called past today as an early birthday treat. The lady who was working was not phased by the fact that we all took a few minutes to choose....especially my boys! Other customers were also very patient! Great selection of cakes. We all chos
Excellent quality, super tasty cappuccino with cream and perfects sweets... The only two concerns are that sometime is a bit crowded and people is just working with their laptops.. The other thing that could be improved is the availability of just plain all butter scones. But in average it is a awes

Second visit here and will be back!! Such a lovely coffee shop. The best cakes, decor, atmosphere and coffee. Would definitely recommend a visit.
This is a magical place. Its cakes are distinct, characterful, and so incredibly tasty; and the friendly and welcoming staff, cosy setting, and wholesome atmosphere altogether make visits here not merely delicious but restorative to the soul. Strongly recommend, and thank you for improving the world
Been coming here a fair few years. Used to co-manage the restaurant next door so was gutted when Nipoti closed down as they were my local caffeine fix. So was greatful another coffee shop opened up. These guys do amazing cakes. The coffees are as good if not better than your commercial coffee shops.
A friendly, welcoming and comfortable cafe with excellent service. The cakes themselves are fantastic, and I've been back to try more after the first visit. Stays open late too, so you can drop in for dessert after dinner.
Love that this lovely place is open quite late, esp on a Sunday when you want to beat those Monday eve blues and get cake. 🍰🧁
Such a lovely quirky coffee shop! Wish we had a similar one near me! I’d be there every day. Lol!
Nice little cafe with many cakes to choose from. The vegan cakes are not too bad if you’re lactose intolerant.
Absolutely delicious cakes with a massive range to suit whatever taste you may have. Great range of drinks too and I always find a table. Nice to have vegan options available.
Best cakes in Newcastle! Big selection of hot and cold drinks and staff are really pleasant. Have been back so many times, I love it!
Exactly the cafe you want. Lots to choose from and some engaging chat from staff to help you nail that decision. Lovely atmosphere, makes you want to linger and stare at the big skies from the window. Had a lemon curd cake thing and then went back for a teacake due to the deliciousness of it. As goo
