Absolutely amazing food. 1st time here. Myself and a friend did the bottomless brunch. The melon and lychee spritz was lovely. We devoured everything we got it, was all amazing and delicious.

Went with my partner for lunch, neither of us had been before. Firstly, it's beautiful inside and the other patrons all seemed to be having a great time. It's very instagrammable. So it will look great in your photos. But that's no good if the food isn't great, right? Well the food is also delicious. We ordered a bunch of different plates, and everything was nice, but the cauliflower dish was sensational, and I say that as a massive lover of all foods. There were two minor gripes, firstly the coke was in a smaller glass for the cost that I would have liked and was very(!) watered down, which was disappointing. The other is that the staff didn't come across as friendly, almost to the point of making things awkward, but the service was definitely good regardless. I will 100% be returning. The cauliflower, the greens salad, the fries, the rice, the satay chicken, the calimari, all very, very good!

First time visiters and would definately go back. Service was very attentive and the food was amazing. Had tai fish cakes and dumpling starters with fried beef, chilli prawns fried greens and sweet potato fries. Probably a chilli overload but very very tasty.

Our 1st experience dining at Sohe. The ambience was amazing, the music was upbeat and lively. We were sat down immediately as we had a reservation. The staff were very warm, efficient and accomodating as we had 2 kids as well. The menus are not extensive which is a good thing if you are unsure of what to get. I have to commend the servers knowledge of the dishes. We ordered some cocktails and juices for the kids. For starters, we ordered the sharing platter as well as the prawn crackers for the kids. If you love a bit of spice, then the sauce that comes along with the crackers is a definite win. The chicken satay, squid and spring rolls were delicious and cooked really well although we were a little disappointed with the kale as we felt it was too oily and lacked taste. For the main course, we ordered the roasted monkfish and prawn curry along with the Chicken Katsu curry. The quantities were really good, although I expected two or more pieces of the monkfish. However there were lots of prawns but just 1 piece of the fish which I felt should have been the star of the dish for the amount you pay for it. The desserts were outstanding and cannot be faulted. And although we ordered just the 3 scoops of sorbet, the presentation made it worthwhile. The flavors were delicious. It was my daughters birthday and the servers made is extra special for her by singing Happy Birthday to her. Overall, it was quite a good experience, the food was delicious, value for money, the staff were amazing and we will definitely be back to try out a few more dishes.

We spent bank holiday Sunday here having bottomless brunch. The food was amazing and the staff, especially our server Bonnie, couldn’t do enough. Definitely not one of those where you have to wait for a drink! Keep up the good work.

After coming from London to spend the weekend in Newcastle, my friends recommended this restaurant as one of the best and they booked a table for us to enjoy a lovely Saturday night dinner and cocktails. We arrived slightly late to our booking but the front of house staff were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The lady showed us to our table and we were placed on the best table in the house (right next to the beautiful forest style wall feature, excellent for photos!). We ordered cocktails, starters and mains. The service we received was quick, efficient, helpful and friendly. Everything arrived in really good timing so we were not waiting a long time for our orders to arrive and the staff were clearing the table promptly after as well. The food was absolutely exquisite, I had the chilli squid for starters and the Salmon Teriyaki for mains with a side of greens. The Salmon was possibly one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever ordered and I would highly recommend it. The cocktails were mixed to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish & drink that we received. The bill arrived, I couldn’t believe how cheap it was in comparison to similar restaurants/settings in London! Absolute value for money and would highly highly recommend this restaurant. It will certainly be my new go-to restaurant when I am in Newcastle.

OMG. This is the place to come. The food & Cocktails were amazing the staff are amazing especially Amber. From the moment you enter you are made to feel special and important. Nothing is too much trouble. If you live local you are very lucky to have such an awesome place to eat and stay on your doorstep and If you are visiting then stay here, eat here you will not regret it. Date and Banana Pudding comes highly recommended a real game changer, the chef is a genius.

One of the fanciest places I have been in Newcastle. Definitely worth a visit, you do need to book in advance on weekends to guarantee a table. I absolutely loved everything I ordered especially the curry 🍛 the service and staff were absolutely fantastic too! A must visit ⭐️

Lovely food, great service, and reasonably priced. The menu offers a great selection of popular Asian dishes and some sharing plates. We opted for Salt & Chilli Squid, Korean Fried Chicken, Asian Salad, Beef Rendang and a Chicken Stir-fry.
