This place used to have delicious Scotch eggs but this time I went, their Scotch eggs are not good anymore. I still highly recommend their Sunday lunch and Tiger Prawn. They are a bit pricy but the meat and seafood are delicious. I also really adore their interior design. It's posh but not too luxur
Walked in for Sunday lunch and a few beers - truly excellent pink roast lamb cooked to perfection and apricot crumble - the best meal I have had in a long time
Very nice place to have a drink. And we did not see any televisions. So good for some conversation or just staring out of the window. We did not try the food, so we don't have an opinion. We had a good time here.
Really nice bar, beautifully decorated. A big space with high ceilings it still manages to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Feels quite top end which is nice if you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. Cocktail choices are really good, not just the classics... I had an oran
we walked in front of the restaurant and decided to try it. the staff was very welcoming, the food was excellent and quite cheap. local product, very tasty, we loved our experience and highly recommend to try this place. best meal we had during our week in England.
Lovely venue. Decent pub with a good selection of beers. There’s also offers on drinks. The Sunday lunch is very good with massive Yorkshire’s and a good selection of veg. The cauliflower cheese was too thin. The fish and chips is decent for a pub style and really filling (despite appearing a bit

Salmon starter was unreal, recommend getting bread. The roasts are spot on, trio of meat was really good and so was the Rioja.
Great service. Cheap cocktails. Argentinian malbec is nice. Truffle chips are great.
Mussels were the best I’ve ever had, we even asked for more bread to soak up the sauce (they charged us for the extra bread). The portion size was value for money too, filled us up! The Sunday roast lunch was amazing too, flavour and quality reflected the price point. Quality cooking and quality in
Mid price cocktail bar and restaurant. Cocktails are well made and good variety, good quality wines too. Excellent Sunday dinners with good portion sizes to price ratio. Table service was hit or miss on a half full restaurant (several checks to see if everything was ok/if you needed anything but ver

I wish I could give them a 6 stars!!! Really tasty and beautiful place. We loved every dish we have ordered. Definitely next time in Newcastel will visit again.
Stopped by here by chance and stumbled across incredible service and food. The steal was cooked to perfection. The sticker toffee pudding definitely served two and had a lot of sauce, 100% have to have when visiting!
Best bar I've been to. Nice, skilled staff who makes great cocktails. Music could be better and is too loud during the times where few people are here but good when it's full. But this place is easily a 10/10
A lovely experience! Visited the bar for a cheeky lunch cocktail, its pricey but lovely. The large windows can open up to give an alfresco experience. We stayed for lunch which was really nice!! It's ideal for a treat with your friend or a first date place venue. highly recommend!
Lovely evening spent celebrating our sister birthday x
