We visited on a sunday evening. There was a live singer on in the bar area and we sat in the dining room. Great roast beef dinner and lovely fish . Sticky toffee pudding superb too, so good i forgot to take a picture. Excellent.

Went on Christmas Eve and we loved everything! Great value, creative/delicious cocktails, friendly service, and, of course, delicious food! If you like gin, it's a must visit (You'll still love it even if you don't have any gin).

This place used to have delicious Scotch eggs but this time I went, their Scotch eggs are not good anymore. I still highly recommend their Sunday lunch and Tiger Prawn. They are a bit pricy but the meat and seafood are delicious. I also really adore their interior design. It's posh but not too luxurious. The whole environment is just so nice. It's a cute place to have food and drinks with friends and dates.

I've reviewed a lot of Sunday lunches over the years and said some good things about them but "Pleased to meet you" is by far the tastiest I have ever had. From the mash, wow, to the red cabbage, broccoli, roasties and Yorkshire puddings and the pink roast lamb. Absolutely fabulous every mouth full. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Oh, and if you can stomach them, try the Oysters. Amazing.

If I could score more than 5, I would. I was hosting some friends from out of the area. The four of us had the Brasserie sharing platter, which was outstanding. Two of them are Guinness snobs and praised every pint they had. Each of them now want to take their respective partners there. Well done PYMY.

Wonderful afternoon tea with prosecco. Catered for a dairy free option very well. Service exceptional and Isobella and other servers very helpful.

Lovely cocktails! 2 for £12 on weekdays 3-7pm, and can mix & match any on the menu. Also, the food is delicious, I loved the ox cheek!

Really nice bar, beautifully decorated. A big space with high ceilings it still manages to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Feels quite top end which is nice if you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. Cocktail choices are really good, not just the classics... I had an orange espresso martini and I have to say it was one of the best cocktails I've had , beautifully served

Lovely venue. Decent pub with a good selection of beers. There’s also offers on drinks. The Sunday lunch is very good with massive Yorkshire’s and a good selection of veg. The cauliflower cheese was too thin. The fish and chips is decent for a pub style and really filling (despite appearing a bit small), but I wouldn’t reorder it.

Had a lovely dining experience here. Food and service were excellent, and they brought my Dad a wonderful decorated Brownie plate as we were celebrating his birthday.

I popped in for a couple of drinks on a Saturday lunchtime. Service was good and the selection of drinks was large. Pleased To Meet You is in a good location and in central Newcastle. It's a pub that I can imagine visiting again with friends.

Nice and friendly staff. Restaurant clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The food was beautiful WOW I had crab bisque followed by monkfish and tiger prawn masala curry and rice with 2 bhajis mmmm helped washed down with violet martini cocktail, worth a try.i couldn't manage dessert as the portion sizes are good hear and I was full, will try next time. The price is good and great value for money. You can get vegan food and a child's menu. Its located just down side street to Newcastle big market, ayt the end of the street is grainger street. The toilets are nice and clean which are downstairs but the accessible toilet is upstairs. They have a beer garden outside to the rear of the restaurant and you can eat outside which is at the front. A good local bus service runs close by as does the metro,St James, Central Station and monument metro station are all within walkable distance. You could even get taxi or drive and park up in many Newcastle carparks(not free) I have already recommended to my friends and family, so would I come back hell yes I would, I have already planned my next visit Very happy customer😊 The waiter who mainly served me was ferrari who was friendly pleasant and very helpful x
