Would definitely eat here again! I have been for drinks in the past but decided to try the food. Everyone really enjoyed their food, portions were good, drinks came quickly. It was my dads birthday so I asked the waitress if they could bring a dessert out after our meals with a candle in I’d brought
The food was good and the staff was very nice and professional but we had long waiting time ... we were waiting more than 20min to start ordering the drinks and the same to order the meal...
Gone here many times and always impressed by the beautiful scenery of the bar terrace. Usually the service is pretty poor and slow, but our latest visit included exceptional food and amazing customer service specifically from Niamh: friendly, well-versed in the menu/food and overall just lovely! Spent a lovely sunny weekday afternoon here. Staff were really friendly and service was spot on. Food was very good and not too expensive considering the nice setting and atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time we're in Newcastle
Wasn't sure on the staff at first as they didn't greet us when we first arrived on the roof terrace, but we soon found them to be friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent although a little bit slow between courses, however that was fine with us as we were there for a leisurely lunch with
First time I've dinned here ,had Sunday lunch opted for the beef wow ,five stars for barluga valve for money many thanks 😊
Couldn't have asked for better, service was outstanding. Lovely chilled seating on the terrace for food and drinks. Food was beautiful and so were the mango margaritas.
Both the food and drinks here are lovely! Been here many times in the past for some drinks and only just tried the food and was certainly not disappointed! Cocktails can definitely be on the slightly pricey side, but definitely worth it as I've never had one I didn't like. Would definitely recommend
Visit 19/08/23 No food just drinks, been going here on and off since mid 2000s, fairly upper class based on placement, but I like to think I'm upper class sometimes, they do table service even though we sat next to the bar, I always find this awkward especially when leaving, around £14 for a pint an
What a fantastic place. Went for lunch with my friend Sandra. We sat outside on the roof terrace in the sun. We both had the Thai yellow king prawn curry washed down with a bottle of wine. It was delicious. By far the nicest place we've been to eat in Newcastle.
