The best Sunday lunches in town. Terrific quality and sufficient enough quantity! Cooked to perfection. I had the pork and the crackling on it was super crispy, big cut of pork and stuffing. I opted for an extra Yorkshire pudding too. Well recommended. Best book a table for Sunday lunch. Great bar,
Fab gin bar, distilling their own gin on site - the first distillery within the city walls for over 200 years (or so I'm told). Delicious selection of gin with a range of tonics, relaxed vibe and friendly staff.
I've heard it's a decent bar and I have not been disappointed. What's more of a pleasant surprise is that they do quite good food as well! I especially loved the small plates like sweet potato fries, cod bites and spring rolls. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a drink but also nic
Lovely surroundings and a great menu, service was very good and very clearly marked dietary options. Gluten free fish & chips meant it was the first time I've had fish & chips out in 10 years.
Good food a nice atmosphere we booked a table yesterday had a nice meal however the table that we were set for was right next to the door so when people were coming in and out it became very drafty and cold. The staff eventually moved us to another table. Good beer they also have their own gin disti
A fab venue with friendly efficient staff. Had a couple of drinks in the pub, prices good and service excellent, then a bite to eat in Thali tray. Thali tray food was amazing, lots of little sample portions which were all delicious. When I say little mind, I have a good appetite but had to surrender
Had a lovely afternoon tea with hubby a present from family. Was truly delicious would really recommend x
This place is lovely, as are the staff and the food & drinks- will definitely be returning
Really nice place. Nice vegan options. Reasonable prices.
Very very good food and service spot on till the next time 🥂 Thanks
Enjoyed the food, not a massive menu, but sometimes that works better. Recommend the cheese & chilli naan! Liked the rustic settings & 80s/90's alt.rock music
Fired down a somewhat turbo style solo Guinness on a Thursday evening here. It was fairly quiet so the choice of seating or standing area was optimal. No issues with anything really. Standard enough city central price, which isn't so cheap but not so extreme plus it's a nice looking bar. I may not r
Lovely Sunday lunch, potions looks small but it is actually really filling! Love the atmosphere and service too.
Had my daughters 30th birthday here last night . From our first contact with this place they could not have been more helpful . The building is really nice inside with a great range of drinks and we had buffet food which was excellent . But the best thing was the attention of the staff … always che
Had an amazing afternoon/evening. Our table service was outstanding, Steve our waiter/barman was very friendly, polite & very tentative to all our requirements. Highly recommended & definitely go back again & again. Thank you 😊
Lovely relaxing atmosphere, simple, honest tasty food
Great place, food was excellent Was at an engagement party so only got the buffet experience but after reading the menu and tasting the food I will deffo be going back
Booked through a third party for a stag weekend. Attentive staff who looked after our party of 19 brilliantly. Self-serve beer tap kept us going and food in the sharing platter was excellent 👍👍👍
Really lovely cocktails and a great atmosphere, the Newcastle gin is really nice.
