Nice place this. We had pizza, a burger and chips and shared. Pizza was fantastic, could have not had the burger. It was nice but wouldn’t have it again. Good beer selection. Good staff. Doesn’t take American Express. Baby changing has to be accessed by a lift and uses the Theatre facilities wh
Really like this place especially for a chill night out. Many options from the hanging board with great selection of beers. Vegan options also available, the pizzas are highly recommended. Friendly and accommodating staff. Cool, funky with great decoration and atmosphere overall
We were originally intending to go to Pizza Punks however when we arrived there was a sign on the door saying that they had ran out of gluten free bases...so we tried Dat Bar instead and were really impressed with the place. My pizza was incredible, had many toppings and tasted even better than what
I never tried the food so leaving that blank. Nice selection of drinks. Tried a few ciders and a £19 bottle of beer. Only got it cos how on earth can a bottle of beer be worth £19. It was alright. Chairs could do with some TLC but overall good bar. Especially if like fancy beer and ale. Cider seem
One of the best pizzas in Newcastle, everything done by hand. Proper sourdough base. 10/10. Also a phenomenal selection of local craft beers. A great choice for lunch or dinner for 2’s, small groups or full blown parties or events.
May 2023 edit: sadly they no longer do pizza which is a big loss for Newcastle! Superb pizza! Amazing crust and the Italian sausage is as good as you'd get in Brooklyn! Very centrally located; laid back atmosphere; lovely staff. Done a nice job with a recent restaurant refurbishment. Look at this g
First time I've eaten here and have to say i I was surprised. Myself & my friend were just grabbing a quick bite while out & about so shared a margherita pizza. Service was quick & friendly and the pizza was decent quality. Although not in my top pizza in Newcastle, it definitely wasn't disappointin
Staff were friendly, my girlfriend loved her cocktail and the beer was good. Great place before the theatre
Really nice pizza at a very good price. Wide selection of beer but at quite a high price though... Very friendly bar staff =)
Lush food, great atmosphere and fantastic service. Pizza was beautiful, as was the dat burger. Highly recommend the dat-sauce as well. We got two course for £10, and was brilliant. Definitely get the arancini starter. The ginger cider was really nice as well.
Lovely place with some amazing cocktails. Absolutely loved it.
Excellent selection of wold beers with many strong options. Food is focused around handmade burgers, stone baked pizzas and small plate sides. 1950s motorcycle club decor tops it off.
A cosy bar with a great selection of beers, I tried the Almasty sea salt & chocolate stout, which was amazing. They also do really good freshly baked pizzas, I had a free slice when they were promoting Almasty beers. Located in the centre of Newcastle, just by the theatre and close to the metro stat
Very quite when we were in but loved the varied music playing 👍 Staff friendly and helpful
Tad pricy for beer, a very good example of a pizza, beef fat chips were ok but the Dat Sauce was 🤬 delicious 😋
