A group of 14 of us spent Saturday afternoon at theatre royal and to finish our day we had our meal per booked we were seated straight away and food followed and it was lovely and staff friendly would recommend

It's been a long time since I had the chance to visit this restaurant. The decor was nice, the atmosphere lovely, the staff attentive and the food excellent! We shared a garlic bread with tomato to start. I had one of the specials, lemon and Rosemary roast chicken with Mediterranean vegetable risotto, and my mum had the marinara risotto. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and the portions were generous. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we got 10% off the bill for showing our theatre tickets. The only downside is that it is up quite steep stairs with no disabled access and then the toilets are up yet another staircase, which made access very difficult for my elderly mum. Can't fault anything else though.

A lovely Italian restaurant boasting excellent food (starters, mains and some delicious and creative deserts), friendly and helpful staff and a good house wine. Recommended for a trip for a quick dinner or to linger for longer!

Staff were friendly and food was lovely. Pizzas are really tasty and the restaurant is comfortable and well decorated. Menu contains a great selection of pizzas (sorry, really wasn't in the mood for much else) and gins. Atmosphere was quiet, friendly, welcoming and relaxed!

Booked by phone, table for six with only 5 mins notice on Sat night, (28 July), after being let down at another restaurant. Warmly welcomed and taken to a table marked reserved for us. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful creating a homely atmosphere. A very good menu of traditional Italian food very well prepared and presented. Vegetarians well catered for too. The service was nothing short of excellent, attentive but not imposing. The starters and pizza and pasta was top end in quality considering the modest price and the wine was really reasonably priced too. Will def be back.

A fantastic and authentic Italian dining experience on the fringe of the city centre. We were made to feel welcome and were well looked after by a young Italian hostess. A minor niggle was that the kitchen needed better air extraction as the food aromas permeated our clothes and lingered for some time after we left. But overall, a brilliant and beautifully cooked meal delivered by excellent and friendly service. We will be returning and would recommend to anyone.

Food delicious, staff really friendly. Quiet little place out of the way from all the crowds so perfect for a quiet meal. Lots of stairs so avoid if you struggle with walking and currently offer a 10% discount with your theatre tickets.
