Only had 1 curry chicken dhabba but it was fantastic saucy n tasty, big chunks of chicken breast, normally I don't enjoy breast meat as find it dry this was cooked perfectly. Shame we weren't very hungry as we didn't try any starters or deserts. Naan bread and tandoori roti were very tasty crisp and
What a wholesome experience it was , Biriyani was just above the level of expectation, Mango lassi taste was so good with the perfect blend also the paneer tikka. Overall , Highly recommended to have a great Indian food which just takes back you to your home taste. Ambience and the staff was so fr
Starter was lamb with a cheese sauce, looks odd but tastes nice. My curry was indo-chinese chilli curry more Chinese style than Indian. Was ok, bit off an odd combination, but said 2 chilli hot but was very hot in parts. Week day so was quite, I was late getting in too. Service was brilliant thanks
One of the best places to get authentic biryani taste. Other dishes are good too but biryani is recommended both, lamb and chicken. Though the place needs bit of work but give it a visit!
This is my and my boyfriend's favourite restaurant in Newcastle. The food is delicious and the people serving are very kind and friendly. We will be back in the future!
Lovely food, great price. Defo be back again for another amazing curry. Shoutout to Bobby the waiter - absolutely top man. Thanks again had a lovely evening.
Fantastic authentic Indian and Punjabi cuisine. A must if you are in Newcastle and seeking curry/roti/biryani, etc.
Had indian food after a whole month <3 Feasted with some delish naan and tandoori rotis accompanied by two spicy chicken sides, chicken banjara kebabs and galouti kebab! Missed chaas. The staff was friendly and exceptionally good! Loved both Bobby and Rani. Definitely visiting here again<3
Really good Indian restaurant we came across by chance. Very friendly staff, if a little hurried. Had set meal for two and the sizzling starter was fabulous and very generous. Bobby was a great host and charming. Nice atmosphere and decor. Loos were very nice, too. I would highly recommend!
Nice restaurant. The lamb dum biriyani was excellent. It differs from the typical Indian biriyani; the flavour is similar to a pilaf, and it wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated, but I still enjoyed it. The ambience was also good despite the noise. Overall, it's one of the nicest Indian restaurants
They catered for nearly 30 of us and made sure we were all seated together. They had a reasonably decent range of drinks to choose from and made sure we were all served. Starters were great and so was the first course. It took a while to serve everyone their main course but that was understandabl

Really good, tasty food, at a very reasonable price (we had the two course evening special). Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Will definitely visit again next time we're in the area. Thoroughly recommended!
So Rani is a good Indian restaurant in Newcastle. I am sure u will have a lovely enjoyable meal there, and there is absolutely nothing to fault it. But there is nothing really making it stand out as exceptional... It is really good, but nothing makes it stand out from the crowd. The thing is I don't
Took a chance on Rani's based on the great online reviews, as the Indian we used to go to in the city centre has unfortunately closed, and very happy we did! The early evening menu suited us really well as we were going to a show (might've been there all night trying to choose otherwise, the menu al
