Ordered a meal from this takeaway last night for the first time and there is only one word to describe this establishment and that is excellent the meal was delivered in just over half an hour it was well wrapped up to keep it warm we ordered curry king prawn egg fried rice and a large chop suey roll the portions are large to say the least and the food was really tasty and hot will definitely be using this takeaway again would recommend this Chinese to all my friends and family thank you to all the staff at jakki's
Try the munch box. It’s fantastic and great value for money. Great banter while you wait. Definitely recommend!

Was the first time trying this and we happened to stumble upon it. Food was hot and tasty and delivery was in good time. Free prawn crackers were a bonus. Will be returning or sure �

Having moved to the area and trying out a few different places, I can say Jakkis is by far the best. Great service and food is always ready pretty quickly. The Vegan munch boxes are one of the best boxes I've had, great value for money and would easily be enough for two people. I've also tried the regular munch box and the same can be said for that too.
The vegan munch box is the best vegan chinese food I've had! There was a good variety of food included and the curry sauce was nice. The crispy seaweed is a great addition. The salt and chilli chips would be nicer if they were more crispy and could do with a but more flavour but that's just a little room for improvement.
As long as I've happily eaten here, never got any better. 5 stars all the way. That was until I met Iris! Now how do I give it 6 stars?? Well done sweetheart, you managed the impossible if making one of my favourite places even better! XX

Vegetarian munch box is great value, comfortably fed two people. Salt & pepper chips were great, everything else very nice but would say the tofu was a little dry & needs sauce - luckily, the munch box comes with sauce! Delivery guy was on time & friendly. Would recommend & will return :)
Owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, enjoyed his banter and personality. Food was wonderful and very filling! Always had a good meal here!

I've not once been let down by the food and service at Jakkis. Always reliable, never had to wait more than an hour on a busy night. Sweet dishes aren't too sweet and salty dishes aren't too salty - just the right amount for great flavours. Drivers and shop staff are always canny. Won't go anywhere else as long as I live in Newcastle.
We do the £5 lunch time specials, they're excellent value for money. For me personally it's all about the service, it's absolutely spot on, we phone our order through & it's always ready on time
This is a littke gem of a takeaway, the owners are very approachable, and know how to look after there customers. I had the honey chilli chicken with rice and it was the best i have tried, my work colleague had the same and was equally Impressed it was so tasty. The portions are very generous and quality is amazing.
Always love the food from here. Highly recommended. Never had a poor dish. Very much a regular and our favourite Chinese take away.
