We celebrated our daughters 18th birthday here a couple of weeks ago. There was 40 of us and the service was great. The food was really good and the staff are so helpful overall great atmosphere and great night had by all 5�
Our first visit today. Food was lovely and service was great especially from the waiter we had. Im sorry we didnt catch his name. Cant believe we have been driving past this place for years. Will be back soon
Food came out quickly, fresh and great quality, staff extremely friendly and accommodating, place was clean and big portions which meant some for supper, no complaints and will absolutely be back 🥹
We absolutely love this place, it's a lovely little restaurant. It's very well priced and even do a happy hour special where you get a 3 course meal. The staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you. They all make a real fuss of our little one when we go in. We have never had a bad meal here and I can't recommend it enough.
Found this place by chance a few years ago when we went for Sunday lunch before a gig in town. Since then we’ve been back countless times and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly professional and efficient. And for the cost of two courses on a Sunday you’d be hard pushed to find a tastier Sunday lunch at that price point anywhere else.
I went to the restaurant for a friend's birthday party. I ordered for starters, king prawn with lemon and garlic. The prawns were juicy and the lemon and garlic sauce was very tasty, with just the right amount of lemon and garlic. For main I had fillet steak, medium rare, with the pizzaiola sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very good. I opted for salad as the accompaniment (other options were chips or vegetables) which was quite substantial and came with a balsamic dressing. The service was very good, despite us being a large table of 12. My fellow diners all said their food was good. I highly recommend it, best steak I have had in a very long time.
Good, honest food. Our go to place for a Sunday lunch. I love the lamb roast dinner as it rivals our favourite carvery. Who knew an Italian restaurant did such good Sunday roast. We have also tried the pastas, pizzas and such (we're not totally ignorant) and can heartily recommend the food as it's always fresh and a delight on the palate. The portions are large enough to fill you unlike some Italian restaurants that serve food on oversized plates with lots of decorations around a tiny speck of real food.
The service is always fast, friendly and polite in what is a very reasonably priced restaurant.
We come here often for Sunday dinner and I honestly can’t find fault with it. Very reasonably priced for two courses and the food is always beautiful. Every element of it is so tasty. Staff are excellent, very professional and efficient. They’re always so friendly and more than welcoming to us and our baby boy. Often tempted to try else where for a change but don’t see the point! I've been eating here since I was a uni student - 10yrs ago! Staff always go the extra mile and are so friendly. Food is top notch and prices great too. Best restaurant in Newcastle.
Absolutely amazing. I travel to the UK every 6 months and this restaurant is an absolute visit once or twice in the two weeks I am there. No other restaurant compares.
