Fast service and the meal itself didn't take long in arriving too. We had a lovely lunch of mince and dumplings (dumplings were light and fluffy) and the veggies were cooked to perfection. The meal was just shy of £30 for the two large meals and a glass of red for me. It wasn't too busy, so not too
Lovely local pub. Mince and dumplings were delicious and were well worth the money. Will definitely be back
Went for the meal deal they had on Thursdays, 2 courses for 10:95. The quality and quantity of both courses was top rating.Staff were friendly and professional when dealing with queries. Well worth a visit.
Since it has reopened, we have dined here quite a few times. The standard of food is always excellent, with a warm welcome. There is always a good choice for vegetarians. Highly recommended.

Good carvery. Only £5 Update: I heard there's new owners. No carvery on weekdays and it's more expensive.
Been a few times food and service were amazing Trying carvery on Sunday sure we won't be disappointed
Amazing tastey food, great deal on the evening menu starter and main for 10.95 each well done was delicious 😋
Had the carvery. Well worth the money. You get a choice of 2 meats, home made Yorkshire, sausages and then you can help yourself to the veg. A good variety of vegetables as well as potatoes choices roasties, new potatoes and mash. They have a great choice of desserts I had the toffee crunch pie wit
Carvery was great, with a vegetarian option when you call up and book a table.

J6st called in for a quick drink. Staff welcomed us on arrival. Good range beers. Beer garden looks good for summer
Great pub, no complaints at all. The food is perfect and all the staff are friendly.
Very friendly staff and a warm welcome. Showed to our table. We ordered drinks and a small x large Fish n Chips. They were fantastic with home made chips x mushy peas. 10 out of 10 and the plus side no signs of access grease. The best I have tasted in a while.
5 of us Went for a meal last Thursday teatime. All food was absolutely beautiful. Men has Bedrock steak which was gorgeous, I had fish n chips chips are hand cut not frozen chips and the fish also 5* my daughter has chicken strips and shredded salad served on a flat bread she said it was delicious
Upon arrival we received a nice friendly welcome from the new owners, Michelle and Paul, and were shown to a table and given menus. The menus had a good selection to choose from and we chose the beef roast from the lunchtime specials. This proved to be a good choice since our food arrived, reasonab
