Chaophraya - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

The ambience was top notch with the view from the window seats. Papaya salad and basil fried pork were not bad, but did not stand out as much as I expected in terms of spice/flavour. The pineapple fried rice could do with more wok hei but was otherwise delicious. Waiters did not let us know befor
Came for the cooking experience, loved every part of it! Staff was great and food amazing;)
I just want to say thank you to Mike and Asia who got us sorted yesterday for my partners surprise dinner. I remember trying to book the terrace for 7 guests but it was unavailable. I eventually put it in a request box and on the day of the event, Mike reached out to me and tried to sort the terrace
A lovely place, an excellent atmosphere, the food was delicious and the service were great. I can't wait to dine there again.
Delicious food - not cheap but you get what you pay for. Waiters attentive and helpful. Gorgeous restaurant but note there’s no AC.
We attended the Chaophraya for a celebratory meal and it did not disappoint. On arrival we were met at the entrance with a friendly smile and shown to our table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We opted for a celebratory set menu. The starters arrived quickly and were made up of chicken
This place blew my taste buds off. Incredible traditional flavours and so much effort in the presentation. I got the Thai basil rove and it was superior to many I've had. Finn and Scott were absolute delights to deal with Scott leading the way to an exclusive feeling experience and Finn hitting me

Thai Fine-Dining - this spot really serves great food. We went for the vegan options and were impressed by the presentation of the cuisine served here. The tofu, fried with it's crispy outer layer, was delicious. The curries were really rich, and the service was excellent. The interior is exquisitel
Brilliant restaurant with amazing food and service. Aiew and Dan were extremely professional, friendly and easy to talk to. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Thanks for a brilliant meal.
What an amazing place! Must try the Chicken pad Thai and Seafood Udon! Very generous portions and delicious.
Great atmosphere and the staff were friendly. But you could clearly see they were understaffed. Came 2 hours before we had to leave for our train managed to get our starters relatively quickly which were great, waited an additional 45 minutes after finishing off our starter platter for mains which o
First time here and loved it we had a lovely seat in the window so had fab views over Newcastle Cuty centre. The food was beautiful and service was great. I opted for the tapas menu and had 5 dishes in total... all of which were very good I will definitely be back here again... sooner rather than la
Great place to eat. Amazing food, lovely views and great atmosphere. The waitress was amazing, delivering each order perfectly without hesitation or mistake to a group of 15. Would definitely return.
