Beautiful modern bright and airy pub . The food was fresh and plentiful. Service was top-notch .
Food is NOT microwave heated up veg pouches and pre-made pies . All fresh and made to order which you can tell and taste.
Recommended 120%.

I had heard good things about this pub..first time visiting for me, upon turning into rhe carpark we knew it was busy.we had booked a table ahead so were okay..Tables were clean and we ordered drinks which came quickly..we were left to take our time whilst choosing what to order..It was at times difficult to hear what my partner was saying due to the amount of chatter in the pub . When the food arrived to 2 oaps with us got much smaller potions than my picture. The food was basic at best, rock hard dumplings & my partners belly pork was like leather and 70% fatty gristle. So service i give it a 9/10, seating 5/10 & food 5/10..definitely worth a visit tho to make your own mind up 👍🍻

This is a lovely place to eat and the food is great and piping hot. We only usually come for Sunday lunch but popped in on a cold and windy Saturday and had mince and dumplings. Mine was with mash and my mam had chips which were home cooked and lovely. We were served by a lovely young man called Andrew who seemed to be the only person waiting tables but he was very efficient and nobody had to wait long for their drinks or orders taken. We weren’t asked to wear a mask which pleased me as I find the silly rule off putting but most people did wear one until they were seated so the staff respect your personal choice. We’ve never had a bad meal here and will be back to sample some of the other tasty items on the menu.

Really really nice Sunday dinner and reasonable prices (see photo). We had 2 regular beef and 1 regular pork - definitely no complaints. Nice fresh veg too. Forgot to take some photographs of the lunch but trust me, lovely 😍 👌 PREBOOK a table

A great country pub , your basic brown beam's , white walls and red seats but plenty of room in the restaurant. Two outdoor seating areas one smoking , one not although I don't think people follow that rule. Main thing "GREAT FOOD, GREAT DRINK"well worth a visit.

Lovely food & friendly staff. Service was great.

Service was a bit slow and spaghetti meatballs came with parmesan cheese on which kind of put me off as I don't like parmesan cheese at all. Overall though the staff were nice and helpful and there is plenty of variety on the menu. I will probably return one time in the future to try something different.

Fabulous service, clean, fast and friendly. The food is incredibly well priced and beautifully fresh. The owners are wonderul and always welcoming and accommodating. We just popped in but I would suggest booking for food as it gets incredibly busy. Says a lot I suppose. A great local recommendation. We have had many a good meals and evening here. Pop in and have a look.

Called in for a quick drink and ended up staying for tea. the food was beautiful with homemade chips! Very reasonable priced, children's meals well worth the money and very generous portions. The new re-fit is very classy and looks very high end. Amazing service from the landlady, we will definitely be back. Thanks for an enjoyable evening

Been tonight, first time visit. Party of about 15. Beautiful food and atmosphere. Didn't get the names of the staff but blond lass and young dark haired lad were fantastic. All food came out at once and all plates cleared. Lovely staff. Will be back. Thankyou.

I visited this pub a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch having not been for over ten years. I was impressed with the quality of food and service and so visited again today for Sunday lunch and I have to say it was even better. The home cooked food is perfectly cooked and delicious. The service is prompt and friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.
The food at the Percy is streets ahead of its two main rivals not half a mile radius from here. Well worth a visit and looking forward to seeing the refurbishment!

first & last ever visit to this pub. requested change for pool table, was told i would have to pay £5 deposit on cues, decided not to play. two young men having just finished playing pool & leaving gave us the cues, saying they did not have to place a deposit, the barmaid then came & snatched them away saying to many cues have been broken, she did not no me so i could not play. the manager followed myself & brother out to the car park saying he had an office full of broken cues because of vandalism . we called in with the intention of having a future meal as we regularly dine out. i am 73 years old & my brother is 70.(perhaps we looked like we would cause bother ? )

Been a few times now and won't stop going , there is a good choice of food that is delicious, all home cooked favourites the place itself is lovely and clean & staff are very friendly and helpful, two of my family members are wanting to work there way through the menu that's how nice it is ..

Called today with the intension of booking a table for six. We had a pint and we're going to have a game of pool ,the bar maid asked for five poundays deposit for the cues which we did not have, the two lads that were just leaving handed us their cues which the barmaid promptly snatched and again demanded five pounds. On the way out we were confronted by the manager who was quite aggressive pointing out that he has an office full of broken pool cues and we were strangers.Needless to say we shall not go back there. We eat out a lot and there are a lot of nice places in the area for meals .I have never experienced this sought of negative attitude anywhere before.

A friend and I went for lunch today we weren't disappointed it was fabulous. We chose the baguette option I had hot roast beef in a warm baguette with homemade chips, coleslaw & salad with a jug of delicious gravy. She had the prawn mayo with chips salad and homemade coleslaw. The portions are generous and excellent value for money. Highly recommend

I went here on Tuesday (15.09.15) for a meal. The food was simply fantastic! I ordered garlic king prawns with crusty bread followed by mince and dumplings. Not a single fault can be found. The potions sizes were very good - desperate dan would've been satisfied. The family that have taken recent ownership have done a marvellous job so far. I may even book a table near xmas for their festive menu. Worth every penny! Stephen (North Walbottle).
