For some reason my review from April hasn't shown up. We had our daughters wedding here and it was absolutely wonderful, we really didn't want a standard package, it was totally individual to the couple and how they wanted things, we never worried about a thing the whole day, the set up was just perfect for us, when it got a bit chilly later in the day we had a quick move in doors. No fuss, no problems. The food was excellent, the staff were busy for the whole of the day, plenty of them, making sure the whole day went smoothly, cannot recommend this little jewel of a wedding venue highly enough.

Our beautiful daughter Stefanie got married at High House Barn on Tuesday 22nd August we had the best day. Jason ,Kirsty and their team ensured the whole day and evening went like a dream. So well organised right down to Jason holding Stefanie's veil in place during a field photo scene!! Informal boho style wedding pizzas chips salad just kept on coming they were beautiful everyone commented on how well organised things were. Such a Stunning inside outside venue with beautiful fields for photos. Children were catered for with the outdoor play park and array of games to play with. Simply the best wedding venue Ive been to in a long time. Thank you Jason and Kirsty and your brilliant team. At the end of the night there was a mix up with our taxi home and the bar staff were leaving for home they very kindly took us back to corbridge Thank you again xxxxxxx

Fabulous food and very friendly staff. Great service and child friendly. The Sunday dinner was amazing. Shame you ran out of sticky toffee pudding, but understand it must be popular.

We have just spent 2 nights at this lovely farm staying in their bell tents. We had our stay rearranged by a day due to high winds and Rachel couldn't do enough for us to make sure everything was rearranged. The tents have electric set up and a powerful heater which was gratefully recieved as the weather was typical English weather cold and wet you definitely felt the warmth when entering the tent. The toilet/shower block was very spacious and I loved the fact that they were Individual which you don't find on many sites. The 2nd night we ate in the restaurant and Wow! The steak and ale pie was so tasty my son had the burger and it was one of the best children's homemade burgers. We attended the reptile show, lambing experience and walking a dinosaur which were all great experience that my 5 year old hasn't stopped telling everyone about Also loved the little touches in the field like mud kitchen, play house and book/games cupboard. Finally I would like to thank all the team kirsty and her husband, Rachel, Laura and the other ladies sorry I didn't get there names for their great hospitality. We were made to feel welcome from the start and nothing was ever a problem I don't know where else you can go were your son is talking about lego and they produce a massive box of lego for him to play with. Lovely couple of days What attracted me to this place was its a working farm so animal noises and mud are a must We will definitely be back

Very enjoyable stay. We stayed in the cabin, which has everything you need, TV, kettle, fridge, sink n so on. Could do with a lick I paint to put the polish in it. Site is great, bar, cafe/restaurant and normal amenities. The best part was the wood fired pizzas and the live band on Saturday night. The staff, host couldn't do enough for you. Next time, we'll try one o the bell-tents, they looked great

Stayed here overnight and can't recommend it highly enough. Lovely warm welcome from owners and staff, who couldn't have done more to make this an enjoyable stay. We had a few of their own beers from the cafe on afternoon of arrival, which were very nice. Next morning we had the full English breakfast which was delicious and excellent value. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic little gem, everything was wonderful from the minute we got there. Stayed in their Bell tents with s group of friends for a country weekend and was not disappointed, the tents are clean, warm, comfortable and perfect for a short break away. The bathroom facilities were lovely (separate individual bathrooms). The food was incredible! From the Friday night BBQ, Saturday Pizza’s to the Sunday lunches we were not disappointed. Even if you are not glamping its worth the drive out to eat there!

What a fabulous venue for our wedding. High house farm staff were professional, friendly and kept our nerves at bay by making everything flow. They were very accommodating to our off-beat wedding format (customised beer pump for guests to pour their own drinks, 3pm wedding, followed by BBQ, followed by band in the barn) We highly recommend this venue for your special occasion. Katie and I were very happy with everything.

We have been here a few times over the years and had lovely Sunday lunches. The staff are always attentive and pleasant. The beef and pork, which we had was delicious and the vegetables were nicely cooked and plentiful. The barn is in a very quiet rural.settinv which adds to the dining experience. Highly recommended.

I can't begin to describe how fantastic this venue, and it's lovely owners and team are. We got married at High House Farm and the day was everything we could have hoped for and so much more. Heather and her team could not do enough for us, throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding- no question was too silly, nothing was too much effort. The venue was beautiful and they decorated for us too, everything was done exactly how we wanted it. The food was incredible, with options that kept all our guests happy, everything was fresh and homemade. I can't thank Heather and her team enough, I'll be recommending this place for as long as people will keep listening! Just amazing. Wish I could give more stars
