Just by chance picked up a menu for seniors while waiting for friends. So we decided to give it ago. We were not disappointed.£7.95 for 3 courses. Not huge portions but lovely hot tasty food. The staff were so pleasant and asked gave us extra choices of sauces.Will definitely go back.
Really great food, the Sunday dinner I had was smashing. Great pints, all of the staff are really friendly and accommodating! Would 100% Recommend if you’re passing by!
We've just enjoyed a very nice 2 course meal. I had Hunter's chicken which was cooked really well. My husband had the fish which he said was beautiful. Definitely visit again.

Great food served at a decent price; our server was great and really helpful at recommending us what to eat. Furthermore the atmosphere inside was chill.
Pretty standard pub. Bar staff are friendly, food menu is typical pub grub but is good value and they do deals with the meals and drinks. They show the sport there, kitted out suitably for the six nations. The interior decor is nice, they have an upstairs with a pool table.
Had a meal in there yesterday before my concert meal was hot got a great selection on the menu reasonabley priced

Menu does not have as much variety as other greene kings I have been to but to be fair to them my local is the duke of wellington in kenton which is pretty hard to beat.

i had scampi and chips. it wasnt tasty and i was quite dissapointed.the tartare sauce was the nicest bit.
Good range of beers and decent pub grub...top tip...if your going to a gig at the City Hall show your tickets for a 20% discount.
Really good sports bar, love coming to watch Newcastle play!, there is one bartender that is very helpful, very aware and accepts everyone that who comes through the door is different she always serves with a smile on her face and is the person I look for when I go to get served. Anyone reading thi
I come in here all the time, such a beautiful pub and the staff are even better! Thank you for all the pints you continue to pour me and the smiles we always have, definitely recommend
Ideal location right next to the metro and bus station great for either a meeting location or end of night, large selection of drinks, seating areas on 2 levels
Had a really good Sunday dinner with my dad. Would definitely recommend
