Was looking for somewhere to have a breakfast on a Saturday morning after a gruelling park run. The quayside on The Tyne is the place to find The Slug & Lettuce. Staff are very friendly, really knowledgable and make you feel welcome straight away. Great choice of seating with clear views up and down The Tyne while watching the world go by. I had a cappuccino, orange juice and on this occasion their ‘Plant Based Full English’ all were delicious and a generous portions to replenish my energy levels with high nutrition. Food arrived quickly, prices are reasonable, great atmosphere for a brekky that’ll set you up for the day before exploring the accommodating and interesting city that is Newcastle. Nice and chilled atmosphere and the staff were lovely! We came for a few drinks and tapas, the food did take slightly longer to arrive, but the staff made up for it with some drinks on the house without any question. Really appreciated the gesture and will be back again! Great customer service 🙂

Cocktails 2 for 1 bir of sex on the beach. Nice inside staff very friendly, enjoyed will be trying the food next time.
Brilliant venue for a bottomless brunch for my daughters birthday. Seven of us enjoyed amazing food and drinks, exceptional service by the lovely Niamh and Manager Mark was a pleasure to be around! Felt totally spoiled and would recommend this experience to anyone!! Well done!!
So where do I start, Kayley… the waitress was class. I really enjoy a mimosa as a 190 lbs man, this drink resonates with me to get messed up while enjoying a gourmet beef burger at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday afternoon, however this experience was heightened by the fact kayley was very hospitable to the fact I drank a glass every 2 minutes or so, and constantly made her way past the table every few minutes to make sure my flute was topped up with the good stuff. So all in all 10/10 experience and service.

Bit loud but then again I'm getting old. Was a decent selection of drinks and grub wasn't bad either. Overdone it on the shots and cocktails personally speaking. Had to have a tactical stop over 🤮
Me and my friends came to bottomless brunch last weekend and was served by Kayley. All I can say is wow. I’ve never been anywhere with service that good. She made sure me and my friends had a drink in our hand at any opportunity and always made sure we were all enjoying ourselves. She was that good that we actually booked to come again this weekend and yet again she handed out 10/10 service and manners. The girl never stopped and she made our time there even better so thank you Kayley.
As for the bottomless brunch 10/10 too. The drinks are so good and the food is even better. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my bottomless brunch.

A group of 6 of us went for a bottomless Brunch at 2pm and already the atmosphere in the venue was buzzing. We were given a great, big table & could not have had better service from our server, Kayley. She was fab at keeping our cocktails coming, ensuring that we were never left waiting dry! The perfect bottomless brunch and the food was great with lots of veggie options for myself also - I got the Mexican brunch which was delicious.
