The Cluny - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Great food, great drinks and great bands. Possibly my favourite venue in the North East. Food was lovely, had vegan nachos - they had ran out of vegan cheese but was still tasty. Good vegan options on the menu. Amazing range of drinks especially for a music venue too. Great atmosphere both at the ba
Love the cluny for gig's, freat price for tickets, brilliant bands on and loads of space! Atmosphere always great and the bar is lush! Love being up on the balcony over the stage! Haven't been for food yet but it looks really good so can't wait to go and try! Oh and bonus it's dog friendly x
This was my first visit. I came down for a gig and decided to get some food at the venue first. I was expecting just burgers and pizzas, but was pleasantly surprised to see a Greek lamb and orzo stew (sadly I've forgotten the name) on the menu. It was absolutely delicious and the lamb was wonderfull
Great venue, really enjoyed seeing my first gig here - LNs album launch was fantastic!! It was super loud, I was very glad I brought my earplugs. Didn't have food this visit, but have had before, it's good and reasonably priced.
Great venue with split level main auditorium, limited visibility of stage from upper level. More intimate venue downstairs in Cluny 2 and both are atmospheric places. The bar is open throughout and not just for ticket holders.
One of my favourite venues in the north east. Great atmosphere, wonderful bar staff. Good vibes all the way. I came to play a gig with my band Hadrian's Union and they had the best sound engineers and it was so thought out, even the back stage area was really fun. Top marks
Legendary north east venue for gigs and the best place in Newcastle for a few drinks when it’s sunny. Always a great selection of beers and the American bar style food is fantastic too.
Maybe my favourite venue in the country. The place is always clean, the acoustics are good, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are actually nice rather than acting like they're doing you a favour by deigning to allow you in, as most other venues seem to do. The only two minor niggles are that
First time visiting the Cluny for a Londons calling gig. A great venue with ample staff serving, so no long queues to get a drink. It was a fantastic night and a great venue for music. Highly recommend a visit
By far the best gig venue in Newcastle, great atmosphere and cracking bookings. Even the pub itself is a great place for a drink or a bite to eat.
