Lovely spot under the Tyne bridge for coffee and brunch, I had the avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and it was lovely, a nice spice to it, great crunch bread, the coffee and chilled atmosphere was fabulous too, friendly helpful staff too, great spot and also worth the scenic walk across the Ty
By The River Brew Company in Newcastle is a hidden gem that delivers a delightful experience. The riverside setting creates a charming ambiance, complemented by friendly staff and a diverse menu of craft beers. The attention to detail in both the atmosphere and the flavorful brews makes it a must-
Popped in here for a pre dinner drink. Great location right on the river. Only the outside bar was operating. Because it's outside the drinks are served in plastic cups. Found it more expensive than the pubs, 20 pounds for 2 pints of beer and a gin and tonic.
I went here during the summer in 2022. The vibes were IMMACULATE!! Great place to go after work on a Friday, or bring some friends along for some food and drinks. Decent prices with a range of cuisines that all taste good and amazing view of the river :) However because it’s mostly outdoors, going
Fab location with great selection of food outlets. We tried a couple and would highly recommend Dabbawal Indian street food! Point to improve: It’s on the expensive side (£7 a pint), the beer selection is small considering its a tap location and the app confusing. Didn’t take away from awesome loca
Always a nice variety of beers, dog friendly, lush in the summer with cover for the rain. Only fault I have is the coffee stout is gross. Tastes like they've used old spent ground coffee for the coffee flavour, almost has a jalapeno twang. Super weird and not great. Other than that, my lass likes
It is a pleasant place to visit, particularly on a sunny day and near the river. The atmosphere is the reason for its value. We had some drinks there and relaxed, while enjoying the view.
The location is just perfect! Great outdoor seating and just such a cool and novel place. Beers were fab and the restaurant that is attached had some of thee best food me, my partner and my sister had ever tasted! Very very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Serene environment with great craft beer and shots while overlooking the Tyne river is a yes every time. Prices might be a bit steep but seems like good value for money
When it comes to discovering a new city, nothing compares to stumbling upon a local gem like By The River Brew Co. Nestled along the picturesque River Tyne, this brewery is well a visit. We decided to walk from the Newcastle Railway Station, and took the "long way" to turn this into a nice explorat
By far one of the best place to eat and drink in Newcastle & Gateshead. The location is perfect, the views are outstanding. Food from the restaurant, Träkol, is amazing and one of the most unique dining experiences in the area. There's also the HWKRMRKT if you just want to sample an exceptional show

Incredible experience sitting by the Tyne at the dawn. Really nice light effects on the bridges around us, excellent fire at the back and good drink service because food took twenty minutes to come. It was good music but pointing over the river. Very polite bouncers at the entrance.
Great location for a start, right on the river, with views over to the Newcastle side, and catching the sun from early afternoon through to mid evening. There's a weekend street food market too.
Astonishing venue and location. Top notch restaurant and Wylam beers. A must visit spot on any trip to The Toon.
Taproom mit toller Lage direkt am Fluss. Gute Biere vom Fass. Jederzeit wieder (Translated by Google) Taproom with a great location right on the river. Good beers on tap. Anytime again
Dog friendly Awesome Tyneside bar at the old Tuxedo Princess 🛳 location. 2/3’s and 1/3’s pints available, no full pints. Really not as expensive as a lot of the reviews say on here, we got 2 x 2/3’s for £7.40! Absolute bargain considering the awesome location underneath the Tyne Bridge. Massive
A really nice outdoors pub on the riverfront. There is a good range of drinks and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the warm weather in.
