Popped in here for a pre dinner drink. Great location right on the river. Only the outside bar was operating. Because it's outside the drinks are served in plastic cups. Found it more expensive than the pubs, 20 pounds for 2 pints of beer and a gin and tonic.
When it comes to discovering a new city, nothing compares to stumbling upon a local gem like By The River Brew Co. Nestled along the picturesque River Tyne, this brewery is well a visit. We decided to walk from the Newcastle Railway Station, and took the "long way" to turn this into a nice explorat
Always a nice variety of beers, dog friendly, lush in the summer with cover for the rain. Only fault I have is the coffee stout is gross. Tastes like they've used old spent ground coffee for the coffee flavour, almost has a jalapeno twang. Super weird and not great. Other than that, my lass likes
It is a pleasant place to visit, particularly on a sunny day and near the river. The atmosphere is the reason for its value. We had some drinks there and relaxed, while enjoying the view.
A really nice outdoors pub on the riverfront. There is a good range of drinks and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the warm weather in.
Fab location with great selection of food outlets. We tried a couple and would highly recommend Dabbawal Indian street food! Point to improve: It’s on the expensive side (£7 a pint), the beer selection is small considering its a tap location and the app confusing. Didn’t take away from awesome loca
Astonishing venue and location. Top notch restaurant and Wylam beers. A must visit spot on any trip to The Toon.
Great location for a start, right on the river, with views over to the Newcastle side, and catching the sun from early afternoon through to mid evening. There's a weekend street food market too.
I ate here in 2019, and it was fantastic. Food and service both. I hope it's still just as good, as I'm returning soon!
Serene environment with great craft beer and shots while overlooking the Tyne river is a yes every time. Prices might be a bit steep but seems like good value for money
