Place lovely. Starter a waste of money. Only 2 chicken wings which were nice but the ribs were dry and may as well had not meat on them, wouldn’t order them again. The main was lovely cowboy burger I would order them again. Dessert was lovely to. But there was no check back on any part of the meal but the service was quick enough.

Fantastic pub! Steph and all the team are very welcoming. I love to bring my dog along as all the staff and management make a real fuss of him. They even have complementary doggy treats behind the counter which is a lovely touch. The food and drink is exceptional. I would highly recommend this establishment!

We had a surprise baby shower in The Kings Arms and the team were fantastic from start to finish. Steph particularly as we discussed with her before the day. She arranged to reserve a specific area for our planned numbers & allowed us access to decorate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a venue.

Greeted pleasantly by the staff upon arrival. We ordered our drinks and food which were all absolutely amazing. We were served by the lovely Steph! Would highly recommend to anyone who happens to be in the area!!

We went to the quiz last night after not going for nearly a year and had an absolutely great night. The quizmaster Lee was so lovely and funny and the bar staff were nice. The only issue is the price of the drinks which I thought were really dear

First time here since it was previously a carvery and wasn’t disappointed at all Food was good and even came with extra gravy for each individual meal, always a good sign of things to come. Portions were generous and the Yorkshire puddings lovely Service was great and nothing too much trouble for our waitress Julia Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again 👍

Fantastic gluten free menu with a very good choice. Nice for once not to be charged extra because it is free from. Even have gluten free beer. 😁

As soon as I walked through the door the service was great, Steph our server couldn’t have been nicer. I really appreciated her help and she wasn’t afraid to lend a hand. the food itself was lovely we had 3 course meal and all 3 courses were very good. Thank you to chefs, Ryan xander and Dylan The only complaints we had were little things on the food as my pizzas crust was abit burnt and my sister wasn’t a fan of her nacho cheese on her veggie burger but apart from that we loved the experience. Wait time for food was around 5-10 mins. it was quite quiet as we went for lunch, for the 3 of us to have a 3 course meal with soft drinks cost around £80 it wasn’t too bad.

The King's Arms formally known as the Shire Horse is a great place to visit. We went on the second staff training day for drinks and a meal. They have done a great job with the makeover, very pleasant atmosphere. We were welcomed at the door and promptly sat down. The manager Josh and all of his staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you. Food was worth coming for. All in all we had a lovely time. Paul.
