Had a cracking Sunday lunch here today. This place used to be my local many years ago, it's nice what they have done with the place, had a chilled vibe. Food was great, staff friendly and a decent assortment of beers.
Cute pub… doggy friendly… great deals on food for tues-thurs. Live music thurs…. Good outdoor seating area, but might need the outdoor heaters for the winter
We went here today on the 14th of August 2023. the Manager, staff and Menu was wonderful we had a Sunday lunch here. They were very helpful and very nice and we will be coming back here. Well done ❤️❤️❤️
I have not been in here for a while and loved the new refurb, so bright and colourful. Nice, friendly staff. Decent priced drinks. The food menu looked good. Great outdoor space. Definitely, a return visit is on the cards
Popped in for an hour and a couple of pints, waiting for the bus after a long walk through jesmond dene. Its a nice chilled pub, good outdoor sitting, didn't get food but other peoples looked good. Will go back again.

It's a great local pub that can still pull people in. It has a good car park and outdoor facilities also.

Best Sunday lunch I have had. Great portions ,fresh vegetables and lemon cheese cake was to die for. Staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in going again. Other items on menu look great too.
I held an event in the upstairs function room recently and things couldn't have been more perfect! Staff were so helpful and friendly, room and amenities were spotlessly clean and tidy.
Everyone attending agreed what a lovely atmosphere the pub has.

Great quiz on Monday, great friendly atmosphere, friendly people, lovely food.
I liked this pub, good atmosphere. Not too loud, although they do have football on TV so pick your night. A mature clientele and a pleasant outside space with picnic tables and dogs. I enjoyed the food, my fellow vegitarian diner was happy. Nice spot.
