Coffee Beans Cafe - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Quiet bijou basement café with ground floor alfresco covered dining area should the indoor be full. Not too expensive considering the varied food offering and the location. The all day breakfast was filling for £7.50, coffee was tasty. My friend enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. Staff were pleasant. W
Coffee beans is a snug friendly cafe hidden away in old Eldon square. Staff can't do enough to help, cake and drink offer is a favourite of ours, great value.
Been going here for years Love baked potatoes and corned beef pie Do miss the herb scones that used to be served with the soup With all the pizza and burgers places around it's great to find a gem like this See you soon for my next visit 😊
Nice atmosphere. Good toast and apple juice. Lovely staff. I'll be back soon
Nice staff. Good for people watching if sitting outside. Lost half my cup of coffee as I didn't realise table was very wobbly. Nice tasting coffee though. Better than going to the 'big' companies. Support your independents.
I would of gave them 5 stars if the did fresh chips or potato's. Table service would of been great specially for us oldies. Staff were great, they went out of their way. Prices good, no smoking area a added bonus to.
Excellent small breakfast until 11.30,with good coffee, for about £4. I love table service,do leave a tip. Very convenient for Eldon square,& buses. Outside seating is available..
Last time I was here was about 10years ago with my gran, I popped in today, hasn't changed a bit staff are still lovely and polite, good coffee, food still fresh and tasty. Brought back lovely memories. Would highly recommend.
One place that I missed during lockdown! Gem of a place. Lovely staff. Everything I've ever had there has been tiptop. Excellent prices
Very good coffee shop, small & very busy but very welcoming, good food & reasonably priced. Well worth a visit
What a lovely place. Even though extremely busy particularly at this stage in the pandemic and a bit short on help this staff were cheerful and courteous. Absolute 5 star.
Busy traditional cafe, doing simple things very well. The mince pie and chips here was home made and delicious, pea and ham soup likewise. Decent cup of coffee too.
Excellent little cafe, with drinks and food at great prices. Friendly staff, eat inside or outside, overlooking Eldon Suare.
When you're tired of bruschetta or artisanal whatever's I'd really recommended you try this cafe. It's a more traditional place (in the good sense): good, honest, jacket potatoes, soup, sandwiches and coffee at decent prices.
Lovely freshly made snacks and meals all served with a drink of your choice including alcoholic. Home made soups highly recommended.
Great little cafe with lovely staff and delicious homemade food.
Lovely home cooked food at very reasonable prices for the city centre. Lovely friendly staff.
As usual good food and good service n a nice cosy atmosphere.
