Al Mandi - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

We had chicken shwarma biryani, lamb mandi and kunafa. The main dish was so-so, wasn’t spectacular, but my God, the kunafa was brilliant. The cheese, honey, the pastry and ice cream are well-blended and well-balanced. It’s a must-have.
Delicious traditional Syrian / Turkish and labenese cuisine!! Great taste and amazing ambience! Quality service by friendly staff!! Ample parking space out of hours!! Reasonably charged with dessert options and complementary served traditional Arabic tea!! Overall a good option for Arabic cuisin
Delicious food and excellent service. We came all the way from Middlesbrough to try out their food and was highly satisfied. Kunafa is a must try. They do provide 15% discount for students.
Highly recommended! My husband and I were looking for an authentic arabic resto nearby and he found this out! We both really enjoyed our food. Staff are so approachable, friendly and defo assisted us with 5* service! Having to live in United Arab Emirates for 4 years, this resto is the best there i
Amazing restaurant. I don't why locals only come here for chips. The only problem I have with them is their home delivery isn't done as well as dine in. Smaller portions in delivery and their rice doesn't have the nuts and greens on them when ordered online. Also don't order home delivery at night
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Newcastle. The food is fresh and well presented. The portions are very big as well so be ready to share! The staff are also nice and the decor is stunning. I highly recommend it! I would just add that the toilets are not well taken care of, hence the 4
I love it! Food so delicious, very oriental with very good portions and the people are lovely. The atmosphere specifically is so cosy and always their music reminds me with my home country. A perfect full package ❤️ I will forever recommend it!
Extremely good, even after it was delivered and potion sizes are worth the money. Very high quality food I ordered Shawarma Chicken (the wrap, £5.50) and Mixed Grill (with rice; £12.50)
One of the best Arabic food in Newcastle!!
The food was delicious the mandi lamb was phenomenal, the lamb was done beautifully, tinder from inside , but the rice has a lot of cumin seeds, if i can change a thing it will be using the powder cumin. I tried the lentil soup, it wasn’t up to me, watery, wasn’t seasoned well.
Standard Lebanese grill. Went for the Super Al Mandi Mixed Grill. Felt expensive at £29.99. The shwarma was dry.
Awesome food, pls try the kunafe
Such a lovely restaurant with an authentic oriental atmosphere. The food was really delicious and the service was excellent.
