First visit to this pub and it certainly wont be the last. Very friendly and efficient staff is the first thing you notice as shown to your table. Very busy dining area which is always the sign of good food. Traditional three course Sunday lunch was around £8.95 (can be corrected if wrong). Service was very quick despite being very busy and soup was vegetable and absolutely delicious. Main course soon followed and I chose a pork dinner which was so big even I couldnt finish it and trust me I'm a big guy. More than ample, perfectly cooked pork with all the trimmings you would expect of a Sunday Lunch. Only thing missing was a piece of crackling but I bet the owner gets that lol. Banana Split for dessert which was amazingly found room for and overall a delightful, good value for money experience and well recommended.

Lovely pub... and friendly too, good pint of well kept beer...excellent after a hard day's fishing...Tony and Nigel, visited again this afternoon...very attentive bar person...for her age she was very knowledgeable and enjoyed her job...a credit to the Masons Arms.

The pensioners special is amazing £5.50 for main and pudding and the portions are ample. My fussy husband declared that the steak pie was the best he's ever had. Old fashioned and a little basic but spotlessly clean and staff friendly and helpful.

We called in here on Saturday night planning just to have a couple of drinks but 5 drinks later we went back to our B&B. The chap behind the bar and the locals made us so welcome. Really enjoyed our night will come back when we are around the area. Thanks again.
