£10 for a "Mushroom and Stilton Pie" - a ceramic dish filled with strange watery brown liquid, no Stilton that I could taste, and mushrooms which must have been an afterthought. Great venue but staff could be friendlier. Food is okay but takes a while to get you (more than 30 mins)
Decent enough although the brie and cranberry toastie could have done with less cranberry and more brie
Ordered sourdough with mushrooms and spinach. Mushroom were nice, but toast was burnt and there were literally 6 spinach leaves. 6. Spinach. Leaves. Also waited a long time for the bill, and again to be able to pay the bill.
Varied patrons but generally demure. Keen and friendly staff. Food is excellent value and high quality. Make sure you get a seat overlooking the lawns of the University: it's great for people watching.
Good grub and relaxed. Nice chicken salad today. Graduation week as well so lots of posh frocks
Great, varied and creative lunch menu. Good range of beers. Fantastic setting in the middle of Newcastle University campus.
Great vibes and atmosphere but food isn't amazing. Could be better!
