The most innovative spoons i’ve been! I’ve never seen such beautiful miniature wings in my whole life! My hamster loves it, definitely worth £3.06!!! The world is amazing, thanks jesus, Amen
Well there's posh wetherspoons and theres not so posh wetherspoons..This is an awesome wetherspoons..its massive and off the main rd in Whickham so you cant miss it. I had a few pints whilst waiting for a lift home..whilst there i was welcomed & served by a lady with a nice smile & manner about her.
Lovely setting inside and out. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
Love coming here. Great pint and food has always been delicious 👍🏻 The queue system is not a real thing though.
A beautiful building in the centre of Whickham which is a pretty suburb in itself. Didn't stay long or eat here, however. There is limited parking out front and you need to obtain a parking permit from the bar.
A friendly and welcoming pub with all the Weatherspoon trimmings. The beer is decently priced and a good range is stocked. (No Fosters though). Given it was mixed weather in my visit, I initially sat outside in a screened off seating area which was probably introduced during Covid and has remained
It's a kind of classy whetherspoon if that's possible. 😂 Outdoor seating for summer pints. Parking limited. As usual easy to order food and reasonable quality for a fraction of the cost. 👌👍
Went to the Harry Clasper pub for birthday breakfast, unfortunately bacon was very crispy and beans were cold, have eaten here on several occasions, so won't knock the facility, and put it down to timing of food delivered, staff friendly and warm and welcoming, prices reduced on breakfast and cof
Nice pub. Lovely pints at a good price too. Food was also decent.
Real beauty with the most beautiful toilet i have seen
When you visit a Spoons pub, you can expect to find a range of delicious ales and lagers served in pints or half-pints, along with a selection of delicious food to accompany your drinks. The atmosphere of the pub will typically be homely and welcoming, with a pleasant decor, comfortable seating, and
Nice building, had breakfast with coffee decent breakfast place was half full nice atmosphere, limited parking so had to park up about 200 metres away.
The Harry Clasper is a great example of what Wetherspoons is all about converting the defunct but wonderful council offices in Wickham into yet another useful building we can visit and use and of course enjoy
Very good bar, with very reasonably priced drinks
