Roj Mediterranean Restaurant

We visited this restaurant after seeing some great reviews on Newcastle foodies. We were not disappointed, the welcome was warm, the atmosphere was relaxed and homely, the staff were wonderful. I had the chargrilled wrap and my wife the Chicken dolma, both were amazing! We will be back real soon to taste another amazing dish. Keep doing what you are doing! Glenn & Jan

Service at the Caspian II Turkish restaurant in the Heaton district of Newcastle was first class. I doubt it's possible to find a place that offers a heartier welcome and more personable treatment throughout the course of a meal. I ordered a mixed grill that was well presented (other than a tiny chip out of the corner of the plate) and tasted fine. The temperature of the restaurant was a little too chilly for my liking, despite heaters being on, on a brutally cold January night. There was nothing else that the lovely staff could do to add warmth. The complimentary cup of tea at the end of the meal was much appreciated.

This restaurant is a little gem in Newcastle so pleased I came across it , the food is amazing has to be one of the best Turkish cuisine in Newcastle the food is just mouth watering to say the least, the chef Mo and the staff are friendly and helpful recommending great choices of food can’t wait to go back would definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed great place with amazing food and great friendly atmosphere.
