Premium spot for coffee - great central location just off the main street so feels peaceful when you need a moment to recollect yourself. Staff are friendly, cannolis are a must (pistachio especially)!
It is a cosy, pleasant little cafe worth visiting with a friend to enjoy coffee. It has a pleasant environment, reasonable prices, and good service.
Good coffee. Lovely staff. Gorgeous cafe. The only letdown: we had to clear our own table of plates before sitting but besides that, not a bad experience.
Vicolo meaning allyway in Italian is a lively little coffee / bar in Newcastle. During the day it is buzzing with shoppers by night it is lit up by a canopy of twinkling lights. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. If weather permits grab a drink and some of their delicious food, which by the way

Nice staff and coffee is pretty good too. Venue is very nice albeit small, best visited in the morning. Alcohol and cocktails served later on which is a nice plus for drinkers.
Only complaint is the food menu is lackluster, and the prices are a little steep.
Fantastic atmosphere with great smoking facilities complete with touch button heaters for the colder months. Brilliant coffee and a fantastic spirits and bottled beer range. Also the Estrella Galactia on draught is delicious.

I received a very generous portion of Poutine (which was supposed to be a ‘snack’) and it was very tasty. It’s a quirky bar with a great selection of alcoholic drinks. It’s also part of Tyneside cinema so an ideal place to get a pre/post film drink and meal or snack.
Great little cafe for after-cinema catch ups, and their coffee is unmatched in Newcastle. Friendly staff too!
Great atmosphere, great buzz, great food and the coffee is bloody great too. With options for veggie & vegan folk this is a brilliant spot for brunch, lunch or even a pre-show meal.
