Absolutely fantastic meal last night! Great food, service was spot on, lovely atmosphere in the room. A great addition to the local food scene. Will definitely be back soon, the Halloumi is just a litle bit addictive...
Wow, wow and more wow. Papa Ganoush has excited my taste buds in a way never before! If you get the chance head straight to any of the food markets they showcase their food at or excitedly their new restaurant opening. I had the Chicken Sharwarma and it was god damn delicious! Every ingredient tasted heavenly and fitted together to make one of the best foods you'll try in your whole life. This definitely has to be one of my favourite foods now, so much flavour it was amazing! :) next time I got to Jesmond food market i'll bring the rest of my family to experience deliciousness courtesy of Papa Ganoush :D
Delicious food as always ! I had the pea and feta mezze falafel tray … excellent value and very tasty. I also had the tahini shake which was delicious . The staff are super friendly and always welcoming me and my hyper dog ! So glad they are up and running after a nightmare 18 months of Covid related stuff !
Had a lovely coffee today in the sunshine. Comfortable little deli and the food looks good too. Can't comment on how it tastes but the service we had was excellent.
We click and collected earlier today and the food was delicious, we had a chicken and the special fish pitta wraps and both were great. There are tables to sit outside at the moment which was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
I collected a pre-ordered take away. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They chatted to me and my little boy while they sorted out my order. The food was absolutely delicious, you could tell it was really fresh and good quality. The portions are very generous with lots of variety in the mezze. I can't recommend Papa Ganoush highly enough, I will definitely be back! Thank you.
Had the special - cauliflower pakora and halloumi pitta. Was absolutely delicious! The pakora tasted amazing, the halloumi was crisp and chewy, and the sauce was really tasty. The pitta bread was excellent - home made I guess? It was soft, chewy and flavoursome - i.e. the opposite of the pitta bread you normally get in the supermarket. We did have quite a wait (25 mins) which isn't ideal for a walk-up takeaway, but the wrap really was worth it. Next time I will try ordering online in advance to reduce the waiting time.
Having failed to get into their Whitley bay restaurant I never realised this was here despite it being here for almost a year! Thanks for a great lunch today. Fresh mouth watering food, full of flavour and relaxed. The chef was quite happy to go over every choice of filling. He is clearly proud of his food and so he should be! Even the toilet was nice with some lovely hand gels! ☺️
I've not eaten there, I was there to do plumbing repairs. The staff were lovely and polite and it was a very pleasant environment to be working in especially as the point I was working at was rather in the way of the staff. There were a lot of customers that came in whilst I was there and they all seemed very happy with the food. I'd definitely go back as a customer, rather than a worker. Oh and lovely strong local coffee.
Had the Masala Fish Pitta, it was great!

Just collected the most delicious food from Jesmond today . As ever so so amazing . The new bhaji are little taste bombs of flavour and the chicken wrap too never fails to put a smile on our faces . Thankyou ALL so much . You blow our minds with your food . Never stop ! Martyn .
