Stayed here overnight whilst visiting the theatre. I'm pleasantly surprised! Lovely food, served quickly and a great price. Room clean and comfortable. Free parking and a very good breakfast before we left!

Have not stayed in the hotel part. My family and I frequently have lunch and celebrate special occasions at the corner house. I've attended wedding receptions, christenings and school reunions. The staff team are fantastic and we are made to feel welcome and the service is great. Good menu and range of drinks in spacious surroundings with parking on site.. don't forget to enter your registration

The staff are really friendly and make you welcome, meal's are always nice and reasonably priced, my only complaint is the ladies toilet in the bar are much to be desired floor was sticky cob webs all the way along the skirting boards a deep clean would put it right.

I recently visited with a friend. During the time I was there someone stole my NHS walking stick. The staff were amazing they looked at the cctv and recognised the man in question and made a huge effort and got my walking stick back, minus the label. Thanks to the staff for making such an effort. The police were very surprised the staff got it back. Thanks a million to all of you. Mary Cowan.

Good carparking , efficient service, nice restaurant/bar. Location good for meeting up. They also show live sports on multiple screens. Worth a visit

We had a great time at the Corner House Hotel, mostly because the staff were friendly and helpful. Great value food and drinks, and the music was just right for our get together with friends in the function room (spacious and comfortable!). I would recommend this pub to anyone looking for friendly place to host a small gathering.

We absolutely love the Corner House. I take my dad once a week for his lunch and the food is always good. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much for them. We recently attended a kids’ Christmas disco in the function room and all had a fantastic time. We have hired the function room ourselves for different events in the past, including my daughter’s christening, and have always been really happy. We’ve also had family stay in the hotel when visiting and the rooms are gorgeous! They all spoke very highly of the breakfast, too. We’re very lucky to have such a wonderful local!

Lovely food, but no table service for orders unlike the Pack Horse in Burnopfield. Food was really good though, service was quick too and staff pleasant. Car Park however has no direct route into pub for disabled people you've got to walk around to main entrance on main road. Rather inconvenient for those with walking difficulties

4 day break. Was just what we wanted. Food was lovely, staff were fantastic so helpful. A big thanks to all staff, you made our stay great.
