The Boathouse - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

decent pub but really small
Historic old pub on the banks of the tyne, cozy, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff.
Pleasent little pub by the river Tyne, bags of history, quiet area lovely for walks, small menu but lovely accommodating staff,
Canny little locals pub and not a bad cup of coffee to boot
Good little pub for cyclists to rehydrate at, Sunday lunch was good but could do with more veg on the plate. We would stop and eat here again.
Riverside pub on the banks of the Tyne at Newburn. Next door to a country park, on the Hadrian's Wall route and neighbouring rowing club so busy at the weekend with walkers, cyclists, rowers and locals watching sport on the big screen tellys. A bit scruffy but welcoming.
Nice small pub, nice pint. Lots of small children about, owner poking the fire, then walking across room to the other fire, was slightly concerned. He should of put the poker inside the metal bucket he was holding for safety reasons.
Disappointed that a hot dog in a roll was just a little 4" tinned or jar tidler in a finger roll. Belies the sign that draws you in advertising good locally sourced food, probably from Asda along the way. No sign of the cask ales either!!
