Four of us came to this pub Sunday afternoon 18th Feb. Great selection of beers available. However I was on Newcastle Brown Ale and got the last bottle. Donna who was in charge of the bar went next door and made sure there were more available. Thanks for great and friendly service. We will call agai

Cracking boozer directly opposite the hotel i was stopping in. Great service from the wonderful staff and a top pint of Guinness.

Came in here on two evenings during a brief stay in Newcastle. Less crowded than some other nearby pubs. Staff efficient and helpful. Good beer. Tended to close surprisingly early, however I'd certainly recommend this pub.
Very good pint of bitter in a proper pub. A welcome relief from all the flashy modern soulless glitz that is so popular in the neighbourhood.
