Nice little place in Newcastle. Clean tidy decorated lovely. Toilets are clean. Wheelchair accessible entrance but never noticed accessible toilet. Not the cheapest pub in Newcastle I'm afraid but drink was really nice. Staff was polite. A local bus service runs close by as does the local metro, eit
Great atmosphere, music, service and drinks. A real pub.
Absolutely love it in here. Came on a busy friday night and also on a quiet afternoon while in town. Staff are absolutely lovely and the regulars that we met were so nice. Really like it in there, great atmosphere when its heaving and great music and even when its quiet it's a lovely place to be. W
I have to praise the two girls that were on shift this evening ,so nice to have friendly bar staff with excellent customer service!… Certainly will be back!
4 of us enjoyed a lovely a Sunday lunch great choice of modern food at realist prices and the beer was excellent as recommended by the very friendly staff
Great bar near the ground. Mix of home and away fans in there. Pleasant atmosphere
Traditional pub, filled with people having a good night out on a Saturday evening. Reasonable selection of beers.
Traditional pub. Great place for a pint. It's normally quiet when I go but I bet it gets busy on match days. Had great warm pork scratchings on the bar when I went. Spot on.
It deserves 5* just for the music selection. Awesome! Got a good cocktail and good nachos. Soccer fans on a game night provided added local folklore. Definitely a nice spot
Good selection of ales and pleasant staff. One of the ales was on the turn, happily replaced free of charge with a nice fresh alternative.
Called in here on the off chance as was passing and loved the atmosphere. Great music, great ipa’s and friendly staff. Will definitely return
A very popular old pub just off the main street. Even if it looks full and you haven't been before get yourself in, good friendly staff and you can get a toasty.
Now that we have think a different way. Popped in Yesterday (2/8/20) with Mrs T. We absolutely loved it. The young lady was a dream. Took our temps and relevant details. Asked the under aged to leave (fantastic). We had a lovely conversation and the beers were perfect. More the 5🌟
This might be the best pub in Newcastle City centre. It's well priced with a great atmosphere. It has live music most Saturdays but if you're anything like me then you'll appreciate the Arms for a place right in the middle of town that doesn't get too busy so you're always going to get a seat. One of the few proper pubs left in town. I love this place. Normally quiet, with an excellent range of real ale, and really lovely staff. Beware match days as it transforms into a fully loyal and absolutely packed pre and post game venue!
