I have never had a bad meal from here and order quite regularly, the food is consistently good. The staff are lovely and polite, they will accommodate meals not on the menu and delivery time is never over an hour. It is a massive plus that they haven’t had to use any of the awful food delivery platforms out there too and testament to the fact they simply don’t need them - they rightly have a loyal customer base because their food and service is great. They also accept card payments over the phone and in person!
The food is always amazing the 2 sisters who run this place are so lovely and helpful and the food is always outstanding and the do amazing tofu dishes too 💕💖
Brilliant service everytime, foods always red hot.
So the wife wanted something that wasn't on the menu and sun wah delivered. When a takeaway is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty that's a great takeaway. She ordered deep fried shredded chicken in satay sauce with crispy noodles and she said was the best she had ever had. My chicken in Cantonese is allways great. Thanks sun wah express. Regards lee
On Friday night we visited you after going to a local
pub and takeaway who were both unwilling to serve
us food for my sister who is egg and dairy intolerant.
You went the extra mile and prepared a meal that
was safe for my sister. Thank you so much for
providing excellent service and restoring our faith in
the takeaway industry. No wonder my sister is
concerned that she will be served suitable food and
isn't very relaxed about eating food she hasn't prepared herself.
The lady on the counter was extreme helpful.

Food is fantastic and service is great. Best chinese takeaway we have had. Good portions lots of sauce nothing overly salted. Its became our regular. Prices are fair and for a meal for 4 people came to £60 with all the trimmings etc
Good food, quick service. Only downside is cash payment for less than £10 orders
Tried for the first time last night called up just before closing the delivery driver had went home but that wasn’t a problem the lady brought it her self to blaydon was piping hot very nice lady she was, food was amazing best Chinese I’ve ever had restaurant quality the chilli chips were beautiful we got a house special chowmein it was massive loads of meat about 6 king prawns and free prawn crackers was a bonus. This will definitely be our new local Chinese takeout
One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. Very friendly staff. Easy to order ahead on the phone. They accept card payments which is great. My favourite is the spicy beef and black beans sauce (stuff of legends)
