Best place for chicken in all of Newcastle, no doubt. I've been coming here since I was about 5 years old almost every fortnight and it has always been great. They some without doubt the best chicken wings I've ever had and the grilled chicken is very similar to Nandos except it's far better and half the price of nandos. The fried chicken is different to southern fried chicken because it's halal, it is really good. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the price is great. YOU NEED TO GO HERE!!!

Halal fried chicken in China town just outside st James park. Quick and friendly service, very reasonably priced and large portion sizes. Would but the the quality of chicken up there with KFC

Love the food used to go there with my grandad and the service is quite quick like 5-10 minutes or something similar but the view is also quite nice got the best stadium in England to look at while you eat.
Simply THE best grilled chicken! I have tried many other establishments in other towns/cities in the hope that they can match the food here, and none have come close. Everything about it is fantastic. The chicken is charred, slightly spicy, but incredibly succulent. the chips are perfectly crispy, and the lemon wedges and chilli sauce you receive with the grilled chicken are the perfect accompaniments. All this (half chicken) with a drink (they even do Irn-Bru!) for under £5. Forget Nandos, go here! I currently live in Blackpool and miss this place massively, I have to visit at least twice when in Newcastle.
Overall, very good. Chicken strips - tasty, wings - tasty, fries - crispy and nice, burger - delicious, but the whole chicken was dry and the sauces were not delicious. Overall, would recommend - 4/5, will order again for sure, it's just a matter of knowing what exactly to order.

Beware that they tend to confuse spicy and nonspicy chicken strips, so wraps and chicken strip boxes can be a mixed spicy&nonspicy experience regardless of what u ordered. Not a problem for me personally, I honestly don't notice since I also get peri peri fries, but I have a friend who doesnt like spicy food who it's a problem for.
