Stopped in for a pint and had the ‘Dirty Dog’ here and it was really good! Loads of pulled pork and beef brisket on top of a really good pork sausage hot dog! My better half said the ‘Mac Stack’ burger was good too.
Very average burger with BBQ sauce but the chips are actually amazing. Overall not bad at all.
One day my wife (who doesn't eat a lot of meat) turned to me and said she was craving BBQ. For me, that would ordinarily be music to my ears, but we had just boarded a plane for our vacation to England. Here in the states that would be easy. In England? We stopped in Newcastle so we could see Hadrian's wall and decided to give this place a try. It was very good. In the states, this might have been 3.5-4 stars. In Norther England, I have to give it 4.5, I'll round it up to 5 just because it made my wife so happy.
