Ridiculously good salad boxes! Extremely generous portions and excellent variety of ingredients - super fresh and flavoursome. I generally order in advance to collect and it's always ready when I pick up! Would definitely recommend!
Pretty little shop, which looks slightly quirky. The long queues here speaks for itself. Hearty portions of tasty food - my sandwich had a generous filling, without being overfilled. Staff very helpful and friendly, asking about any allergies and exactly how I wanted my sandwich. There's also a dece
Best salad box I have ever had (to my memory!) What a treat, at a great price. Fresh and tasty great quality ingredients, amazing and thought-through mix of pickles, flavours, just the right balance of heat from chilli/spices. I will be back.
Avoid the chain retailers at Central Station and head to The Camera Shop for a delicious sausage sandwich with it's warming spicy sauce instead. The coffee is far superior in comparison to the coffee I get from home.
There was a wee queue in front of the shop, i wanted to check it out, and the vibe took me in. What a sandwich! It was great! Staff is really friendly too. I’m happy for not going big chain co. And i will definitely come back when I’m in New Castle!
Best salad in Newcastle and their coffee is good too. They also do breakfast sandwiches, paninis and wraps
What a cracking place to get a delicious coffee and, possibly one of the best bacon butties I've had. Local butcher bacon, home-made slow roasted ketchup (you can see it being made!) and - controversially, according to my wife - rocket, all wrapped up in the best, freshly baked roll (barm?). Oh and
Me and two of my lads went there for our dinner today and bought the caveman wrap. We work all around the country and can honestly say it’s the best wrap I’ve ever tasted. Attention to detail while making it was also noted! Try it out for your selves
I totally love it. It's not a cheap option but you get something freshly prepared and tasty. Halloumi and Falafel wraps and boxes are my favourite and you can add all the salad items you like. They do lovely Block & Bottle sausage sandwiches in the morning too...as well as good tasting Pilgrims Coff
Everytime I go I love it, staff so friendly, food really really good
Very friendly staff, always feel comfortable there despite being quite anxious. Only ever had the Bacon & Cheese breakfast toastie and the Chorizo, Mozzarella, and Pesto toastie. They're both absolutely phenomenal. No better sarnies in Newcastle.
Staff were lovely. Food was quick and tastey. They clearly have a lot of regulars that really enjoy it.
Absolute gem of a sandwich place. I love all their lunch options, including the jacket potatoes. The salad boxes are absolutely unreal! I love how they use lots of fresh local ingredients and offer seasonal additions or specials to their menu. Definitely different to your run of the mill sandwich sh
Not all sandwiches are created equal! Passing this shop for the first time I feared the worst... Vintage styling, trendy name, chap with a beard behind the counter... I expected overpriced, style over substance, hipster nonsense. Definitely not the case!!! Very reasonable prices for what can only b
My first time in this morning. Their standard bacon roll with roast tomatoes, rocket and harissa was amazing. Never knew a bacon roll could be better with more than just bread and butter. The great coffee hit the spot too.
I don't believe I have ever wrote a Google review before, but this place deserves it. The best place in town for lunch, so far I've only had a few of the salad "super" boxes but look forward to working my way through the menu. Plenty of fresh, well-prepared ingredients and lovely staff. Would recom
A must stop, for lunch in town! Lovely food, passionately made and quality coffee. Happy friendly staff and glad that they have stayed open over the lockdowns. Also I can't believe someone gave them one star because its "not a camera shop..." they are in for a shock in Currys...
Genuinely great coffee, with good range of syrup shots - not just the norm. Awesome sandwiches too; the muffuletta is a real hit and the white sourdough bread is delicious. Independent, friendly, tax-paying, loyalty-card giving goodness - my favourite coffee shop.
