Have loved this pub for years always has fantastic music and nice staff. Ladies loos have been updated and they are clean and fresh. Busy at weekends but all adds to the atmosphere

I loved yes loved this place. Staff are polite and professional, this place has been refurbished, well I say that it's had a new carpet and the bogs have been done out. Now the important stuff... The 2 cans offer has gone so has the extensive cocktail menu, so be prepared £3.70 for carling 😧 I could drink on Grey Street for that and hope you like 1 of the 5 cocktails on offer cos you only get 1 for the price of one.
Very disappointed that the refurb meant changing the reason people drink here 😏 bring back the offers and cocktails. Please bring it back, not everyone likes change. I feel bad giving 2 stars as this is no reflection on the staff just the price's and lack of choice. Sorry 🙏 unfortunately I will not be going back soon 😢. Just been back and pleased to say that whoever owns it has done a great job. Loads of special offers on until 6pm week days and 3pm on weekends. Excellent choice of drinks £3 for Carling and cheap cocktails. Music is excellent staff are friendly will definitely be going back.
Popped in for a drink before going to the City Hall for a gig. First time I've ever been in this bar, loved it.
