Love this place. Been coming here since I was little. 100% recommend the breakfasts. So filling and worth the money! Everyone is so friendly!
We were looking for somewhere to have lunch we had a look around and decided on Peggy Sue's Diner, from start to finish we were made to feel welcome and food was great lovely genuine people π
The food here is so good. I went first for coffee and cake and the chocolate cake is amazing - one of the best I have ever had with chunks of chocolate, and moist sponge. I went on Sunday and got my perfect breakfast sarnie - fresh bread with freshly grilled tomato, mushroom and runny egg yolk (how I like it). I saw people get the roast dinners which came with loads of fresh veg. Such a friendly place and extremely good value. A place I will def come back to when I am next in Newcastle.

Me and my girlfriend ordered a beef sandwich with gravy which was outstanding! The beef was actual beef unlike some places that have beef slices & gravy was also proper gravy with prices of meat in it. No packed gravy. The bread was chrisp and freash. We've already decided we will be back for sure as that's the best beef sandwich we've had in a long time. Great price also at Β£4

The layout inside seems very cramped and the outdoor seating/tables could be upgraded but besides that the food was great.

My experience at this small yet beautiful diner was fabulous. The food was so tasty and well worth the money. Honestly first time going here and they have gained a new set of customers for sure! Will defo be visiting again. Staff were so polite and welcoming β€οΈ
Visited here because I used to live nearby many years ago. Delicious food, excellent value and lovely friendly staff. Great place for a bite to eat in the bustling centre of Heaton, would highly recommend!
The food is great and the staff are always friendly.... I go regularly and can only recommend that you try it yourself. I usually get a breakfast sandwich and it really does fill the hole while tasting 10/10 thumbs up.
