Jalou is one of my favourite places to chill in Newcastle. From the friendly bouncers, through to amazing managerial staff like Hollie, and the amazing DJ Playmoordj, who keeps me grooving all night. The whole Jalou experience is liberating and enjoyable.

We went to this club for my stag, and for my first time in Newcastle this was one of the places to be. Friendly, great music, vibes and amazing atmosphere. The locals are very welcoming and know how to embrace the Londoners with style. Can’t wait to go back! 🕺🏽

A great selection of unique cocktails at fair prices. Atmosphere is generally nice but does get too loud after 9pm, music is turned up higher than needed. Outside area is nice, heaters always working. Location is spot on.

Had such a lovely night with 2 for 1 cocktails, Michal who served us the whole night was amazing! Wish I had cash to tip him as he was so attentive but unfortunately paying with card for tips was not available - like so many places are! thank you Michal all the best with your uni course!

We were out for stag do celebrations and though this place wasn't part of our itenary, it became our favourite spot instantly! Chilled vibe, mixed array of people and DJ/music on point! Drinks reasonable, service generally good and bouncers friendly. All round top place!!

Had a fantastic night in the vip area with friends, thanks to the staff for making our night so special by seeing to our every request.
All staff greeted us with a friendly smile and making sure we were satisfied customers all evening.
Thanks to the doormen also, who were very professional and friendly towards us and made us feel really welcome.
All round a brilliant night and will recomend to friends and family for sure 😊

Amazing! Best club in Newcastle for RnB/Rap/Hip Hop/Trap. Not many students. Nice bathrooms. Drinks are decent prices. Best on a Saturday night.
A lot of girls are dressed up in heels bit you can still get in with trainers.

Whenever I come to Newcastle, this is somewhere I always enjoy going for a couple of cocktails before getting the train home!
The cocktails here are out of this world and they taste divine! They’re literally some of the best cocktails that I’ve had, and I’ve had a few!
They’re a nice change from your boring old cosmopolitan or strawberry daiquiri!
My favourite is the marshmallow martini, where they use their own homemade marshmallow foam to mix in with the cocktail, topped off with a toasted at the bar marshmallow!
Definitely exciting!
