First time trying mei mei having been recommended to try n can honestly say nicest Chinese food we've had in a long time if not ever don't normally leave reviews but felt I should because I really am impressed definitely be ordering again

It's the best Chinese take away in heaton. Trust me, I've tried them all! their prawn toast is like no other - more prawn than toast. Their chilli and garlic dishes also superb. they're also one of a very few places to make and steam (to order) their own dim sum.
After trying other Chinese takeaways which were horrible I found Mei Mei and have Been a regular customer for about 1 year never had a problem food always arrives on time and hot. Staff and delivery drives are friendly, I would definitely recommend 😁👍
I drive from Gateshead to pick up from here as no Chinese Takeway even come close near me. Been going to Mei Mei for years and you cant beat it!
I have their chicken curry and egg fried rice quite regularly and it's splendid, wonderful comfort food.
As an Asian I can say their Fried noodles was quite tasty, good beef meat also.
