Gotham Town - Newcastle upon Tyne - Photo album

Don't let the sticky floors put you off. There's often a good crowd in. Mainly guitars and hair-dos, but is regularly a warm up venue for whatever is going on in the arena. You'll end up quite liking it but not being entirely sure why.
Cheap beers & spirits. Brilliant music (indie & rock). 5 stars, if I didn't always self inflicted I'll the next day. Not too modern or shiny but doesn't need to be.
Always used to stick my head in here whilst on a night out. Where else can you hear Marilyn Manson, The Smiths, and Creedence Clearwater Revival played together by the DJ? The place is always packed and there's usually a wait at the bar so we only used to stay for a couple of drinks. I was in it aga
A fantastic Rock Bar, something Newcastle used to have in an abundance, but has sadly dwindled down to about 5, including this place. It is alternative in appearance, but does host the occasional sports match on a pull down screen. Its decore is fantastic, gargoyles hang from the ceiling with a spin
Gothic bar opposite the train station - a good place to meet up at the start of a night out. Good range of drinks including a large cocktail menu. Great jukebox!
Great bar, very cheap too. If you're looking for somewhere for a quick drink or two then I'd definitely recommend, plus it's location is pretty central if you plan to move on to a club after
Nice bar with good music near the trainstation
Old school but brilliant for it. I don't think it has been changed for over 25 years, and for that reason I keep coming back. Music is spot on too. Classic and fun.
Its ok for a quick pint wouldn't stay there all night a no it called Gotham and has a gothic feel but a could not see in the place put a little bit light in there would be great
Fun, kitsch night out. Ridiculously cheap drink for the city centre. A bit fighty sometimes but generally good fun. Lots of music for 90s children.
Awesome place. Found it after an Iron Maiden gig. Drinks reasonably priced and great music playing. Will definitely call in again
Been coming here for the best part of a decade. Great music, even better staff and trebles that taste good.
Love this place, floor is sticky, toilets are bare bones but the drinks are cheap and the music is mint, what more could you ask for!
