Great restaurant with a wide selection of delicious Turkish dishes. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed by the food quality. However, there have been some instances of unprofessional behavior from the waitstaff. One thing to note is that they only accept cash payments, which was a bit inconvenient . Though overall it is popular spot for authentic Turkish cuisine.
Went to this restaurant, first time. The atmosphere was great. You got to see the chefs making the food and the waiters were really good. They came really quick and got the food to me swiftly. The food was unbelievably tasty, would definitely recommend for anyone out and about. Will be back some time soon.
First time coming to Pinar, after being recommended it - I’m originally from Manchester, so we have a few restaurants to compare it to, like Sultanahmet and Istanbul restaurant
The service was okay, I wouldn’t say they’re really attentive, had to call someone over to place an order after 10 minutes sat down, same again after being finished, took a while for staff to acknowledge we were done, however these are just minor things, overall it wasn’t too bad
The food we ordered were ribs and a meat mixed grill for one, I have to say, the food here was amazing and I’ll 100% be back again, the ribs were juicy and fully of flavour and everything on the mixed grill was delicious too! Decent selection of drinks too - one inconvenience I had was that an establishment like this didn’t accept card, so I had to get cash out from the ATM down the road, not pleasant when the weather isn’t great lol - only reason it being 4* and not 5* for the inconvenience

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pinar, a Turkish restaurant, with a group of friends, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere.
The menu at Pinar is truly amazing & and a delightful treat for any keen restauranteur. We started our meal with a variety of mezze, including hummus, and salads. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The hummus was just so nice, creamy and perfectly seasoned.
For our main course, we ordered the mix grill. The kebab was cooked to perfection, with tender and juicy meat. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and each bite was a true delight.
The Turkish tea was a perfect way to end the meal, with its soothing and aromatic qualities.
The service at Pinar was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had and made sure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
Overall, I cannot recommend Pinar enough. The combination of delicious food, inviting ambiance, and excellent service makes it a top-notch Turkish restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try more of their mouthwatering dishes.

I tried Ali nasik and it was beyond my expectations. Meat was so moist and so tender. Very tasty
They have renovated the place it looks really nice the food is still the same think there is a few new things on the menu service was ok food was ok will try again when it's less busy

There is free parking on the front road and side street.
Welcoming staff and atmosphere. We awere seated and served promptly. The on the house bread and dips, were very much appreciated. The starters came quickly, and we're very tasty as we're the mains. Highly recommended the Feta cheese rolls starters and the Ribs main meal.
First of all the meat is approved by Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC). The ambience is beautiful and the prices are just. The staff are quite friendly.
Coming to food, we ordered Chicken Isakender and Lamb Adana. The portions were sufficient. However, the adana could have been a little more juicy. The accompanying sauces were tasty. Overall this place is quite good to have quality food and quality time with family.
We ordered shawerma and shish tawook, shawerma wasnt so good a bit oily! As well as the rice.. but the shish tawook was so delicious, fries, hummus, dips, bread and salads tasted fresh and delicious too .. the service overall is good 👍🏽
Food was very nice not an issue at all with it. Service wasn’t that good and it wasn’t even that busy. You had to call the staff to take your order, call the staff for the bill. They weren’t very attentive, just working very slowly. Didn’t think a restaurant like this would be cash only too.
Have visited this place several times during my stay at Newcastle. They serve some delicious Turkish food, on seeing their menu for the first time I felt it's bit expensive on seeing their portion size it highly justified the cost.

Everyone of the above dishes are unique, simple, fresh and well balanced. Best part is their tea which they serve after food, just washes the heavy food off.
Ibadullah was serving me most of the time he just doesn't serve but also adds a lot of information about Turkish food and culture which is highly appreciated since food plays a significant role in any culture.

Delicious food, large portions at a reasonable price. We have had take out a few times, and decided to sit in for a meal this evening as a family. Pleased we did, service was great, very family friendly and clean. A complimentary cup of Turkish tea at the end of the meal was a lovely touch.
