Wow! Hibou Blanc is undoubtedly one of the best restaurant bars in Newcastle. The atmosphere is delightful, creating the perfect setting for a fantastic evening. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff providing exceptional customer service throughout our visit. We were fortunate to secure a
A great restaurant and stylish bar, with the entrance tucked away on High Bridge Street. Arriving on a very damp evening, we were delighted to find that the restaurant staff offered to hang our coats - much better than having to hang a soggy garment on the back of your chair and then lean back on it
One of the restaurants lesser known as dog friendly! Dogs are welcome in the bar area, and are given water bowls. Great good and prime location 😊😊
Aug. 2023 Edit… our first visit was fabulous, our second visit was even better and a shout out to Amy and Grace who both provided excellent service πŸ’• We visited here for a birthday, a little impromptu and last minute booking. The service, food, cocktail choices all excellent. Well worth visiting
We dined in December from their early evening menu which was a steal at Β£26 for 2 courses. Gorgeous setting with beautiful & sophisticated decor plus fantastic attentive staff who provided first class service. My cauliflower soup and Christmas dinner were both the best I've ever had - the dishes b
This was an absolutely amazing dinner! The food was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were delicious. They accommodated to my brothers shellfish allergy and suited to his needs. The manager Amy was so helpful in choosing the correct wines suited to each dish. Also our waitress Becky provided gr
Only had drinks this time, but the cocktails were excellent and a charming restaurant and bar with superb service. It is a joy to find somewhere so unique in a very busy noisy area outside. Must go again. Also the food is very well prepared and presented and exceptionally well priced.

A really delightful place for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and well presented. The lamb was served as I liked, pink, but there was the option to have it well done. A good selection of vegetables and a huge yorkshire pudding Service was impeccable. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful place, lovely decor, very friendly/professional staff, private function room, lovely food, really lively atmosphere. Live music on certain days. Well behaved dogs allowed inside. Can't wait to go again.
First, I need to thank Mae who served my table she was very friendly and help us to get delicious dishes. Second, I would to thank the chef because all our dishes were amazing.
Recently visited Hibou Blanc for a celebratory lunch with friends after a decidedly mediocre lunch during the lockdown that discouraged me from returning. I'm glad we did as the French bistro-style food was good and the servers were informed and welcoming. I would now welcome suggestions to return a
Lovely service from the Irish lady, food was brilliant. Can't believe this is in Newcastle, when you're inside it would feel like in central London. The only downfall hence why the 4* would be the music, it was only ourselves in at the time but the music was not really for the place, maybe for a clu
What an amazing venue, such attention to detail. The food was delicious. We were well looked after and I loved the feel of the restreraunt. Got to enjoy some drinks in the bar before our meal too. We ate from the vegan menu they had on offer - great variety, amazing textures. Can't wait to go again
Had a lovely time at Hibou Blanc for Newcastle Restaurant Week. We ordered: Leeks Vinaigrette (the pickled mustard seeds on top were particularly delightful) Cheese Souffle (light, fluffy and packed with cheddar goodness) Fishcake Pork Shoulder with Caponata and Rainbow Chard (my favourite dish of t
