Pretty decent. The place feels homely and the staff are great. The spicy ham and egg ramen was good but quite rich. The curry fish balls weren’t my cup of tea.
Quick service, chill environment (perfect to get some drawing done). Absolutely stunning food, i had the pancakes and cheesy fried chicken and the flavours were outstanding. The honey lemon tea was a perfect drink to go with it. All reasonably came to around £15 which is good for street food lunch.
One of my favourite places to visit for food in Newcastle. Food is always fabulous, the staff/owners are absolutely lovely, friendly and hard-working, and I love the general vibe of the place - you can even play boardgames while waiting for your order! A great place to chill and sample Hong Kong-sty
Really tasty authentic flavours from Hong Kong The menu is amazing, a booklet of hand written, annotated and illustrated delights. I checked 2 menus and the were definitely slightly different looking so were handmade. This gave a very homely authentic feel to the menu and must have been a LOT of wo
Absolutely delicious HK style street food. Fried chicken wings curry was over the top! Try the drinks too much better than ANY HIGH STREET DRINK! Definitely go again!
Great place to get a HK cafe experience. The menu has a good selection of HK brunch dishes, street food and drinks, as well as a specials menu inside. The curry fish balls, radish cake and cheung fan were fantastic, and were decently priced. The positive experience was more than just about the foo
I was missing Hong Kong food and came here to celebrate Lunar New Years, I was not disappointed. Great food that reminds me of home. Lovely staff. Speedy service. Thank you so much 😍🧧🐅
Cozy relaxed place to chill After lunch me and some friends decided to get something sweet so went to pop up wok for dessert. We shared waffles with peanut butter and lemon grass and ice cream with frozen melon balls. This definitely had some Hong Kong vibes to it, loved the waffles, eggy, nice to
Clean, bright seating area with low key Chinese pop music setting the mood. The food was good and the service very welcoming and polite.
Delicious!!! Always been a pleasure to eat here and especially when we are feeling a bit of home sick!!!🥰 Service was superb too!!
Wonderful surprise and great tasty food. Really can’t go wrong with nothing in the beautiful handwritten menu.
Good food. Recommended iced lemon tea and next time I will try french toast.
Excellent authentic Hong Kong food. Friendly owners serving good food and great service🙂
Consistently top notch food and friendly service. Prices are good for quality and portion size. Food is flavoursome and handwritten menus really do a great job of explaining items to those less familiar. This place will customise items to needs, if they can. The special/promotional items help to kee
Just been at got the meal deal cheesy chicken cutlet and pan fried chicken dumplings really nice just not enough would definitely come back to try more stuff though I wanted the salt and pepper wing bowl but they didn’t have it 😭 Tried to bring my son on Saturday but the place was closed even though
The udon is so tender, it caresses your soul 🥺 The ladies serving the food are absolutely lovely and hilarious !
One of the best authentic Hong Kong restaurants/cafes in UK, foods are tasty, and the service is excellent. It’s such a great pleasure every time I eat at pop up wok. As a Newcastle United supporter from Hong Kong, there is one more reason to travel to Newcastle besides watching my team play and vis
I have been here a few times now and I can't get enough. They offer a range of really original foods at a reasonable price and nice portions. Remember to leave room for dessert, cause you don't want to miss out. The staff are super friendly and helpful. 10/10 will come here again.
I missed Hong Kong food so much and feel so lucky that I find this place! The satay beef noodle is mouth-watering and reminds me of what I have in the Cha chaan teng in Hong Kong. Hong Kong style milk tea is also a must try!
